New BRONCO SPORT 18" WHEEL KIT - GLOSS BLACK (M-1007K-S187BSGB} from Ford Performance -- thoughts??

If those were available in 17" I'd stick a set on my Maverick if the price wasn't so ridiculous.

    Idaho Lower front bumper cover

Selling a lower front bumper cover off of my '23 Big Bend. Hit a deer recently and although I told the body shop it was fine, they replaced it anyways so I told them I wanted it back. Has a slight nick on the edge, but that's it. Has yellow marker on each side of the nick so you can see what I'm...

    DASHCAM

I've been real happy with this one. Thinking about getting another for my Maverick. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BKF6XQVY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Another long road trip in the "Brick"

I just did a similar trip in mine. 75 hours of drive time and 4,300 miles. I had the same issue with the cruise suddenly dropping to a lower speed for no reason. Cruise set at 80 on the interstate. No signs on side of the road, Google maps still showing 80 mph, and dozens of times it would...

    Hot hot hot touchscreen!

Never had that issue at all until today. Just drove 2,000 miles over four days at about 8 hours each day. Noticed today the screen was extremely hot to the touch. Not burn a child hot, but definitely hot enough you notice it when touching it.

So happy I got the BS with the trailer package.

I've never been rear ended in the bronco yet, but I have been three times in my various full size pick ups. Everytime the hitch has damaged them and kept me from even a scratch. Strangely enough, all three times were by PT Cruisers.

Any Ideas of Changes coming for 2024? .... NOT Rumor Mill !!!!!

If they would have offered Eruption Green on the Maverick I would have ordered one. I guess I'll just be happy with my '23 and see what happens for the '25 Mavericks.

    Not long for this world

You got 'em. Keep me in mind if you ever just want to chat, vent, or want some advice from someone who's seen what your dealing with firsthand. My phone is always on. I'm a firm believer that a lot of fighting this crap is state of mind. Once people decide to quit, it's a downhill race. It is...

    Not long for this world

I'm sorry you're going through that. Your decisions are your own to make obviously, but if I may, I'd just like to offer one piece of advice. Don't give up so soon. I've been full time caretaker for three family members till they passed. My Grandma battled ovarian cancer for eight years. Chemo...

Too late to order a 2023... does anyone know when 2024 build order can be submitted?

Maverick order banks open Monday and they're built in the same factory so possibly soon. We are talking about Ford here so who the hell knows what's going on. Not even Ford knows some days it seems.

Who makes the best small front mud guards?

This thread got me thinking about it in the middle of the night so I decided to see what I could do about it this morning. Ended up being the plastic rocker panel piece attached to the bottom of the fender was slightly off from the factory which threw the alignment of the flap off. Wasn't able...

Who makes the best small front mud guards?

I put weather tech on mine. Install was super easy, but could be way easier if you either have small hands or take the tire off. I was lazy and just fought them on with the tire in place. That being said, I'll give a warning to watch out for. My driver's front doesn't fit super snug up against...

    Electric Transmission

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I don't care for the part that puts it in park if the door opens though. Mainly when hooking up a trailer. If I'm a few inches off I just sit in it, put it in reverse, roll the right amount and go back into park. I hate having to get in completely and shut the...

The Non Badlands is pretty capable offroad -- Off Road Test @ Panorama Peak and the Notch Trail at Pole Hill Road, CO!

I get that, but man I'd go nuts if I didn't have some projects to work on. That's why you gotta have multiple projects going at different stages at all times. That way there's always something to drive while ya fart with the rest.

The Non Badlands is pretty capable offroad -- Off Road Test @ Panorama Peak and the Notch Trail at Pole Hill Road, CO!

Why not both? Haha!! If I'm going to build anything for serious off roading I've been wanting to find an old Scout 80 and drop in one of those crate 2.8 Cummins engines that are out now. I do have a '52 Willys wagon I'm in the middle of but going back to mostly stock with that one. Honestly I...

How often do you drive your Bronco Sport?

Average about 70 miles a day in it.

The Non Badlands is pretty capable offroad -- Off Road Test @ Panorama Peak and the Notch Trail at Pole Hill Road, CO!

Mileage is my main reason for not doing it on a daily driver. That's why I'll find a cheap totalled one and rebuild it for my hills rig. Where I spend most my time is sagebrush and lava rock. Tears a rig up pretty quick. You'd be surprised how much of a difference a 2" kit makes on a rig. I've...

Any Ideas of Changes coming for 2024? .... NOT Rumor Mill !!!!!

I haven't heard that rumor yet. They are adding on a third shift at Hermosillo starting anyday now. That should help some but if they can't get the parts to build the hybrid power train then all the new plants in the world won't make a single bit of difference. I wondered about fitting in them...

The Non Badlands is pretty capable offroad -- Off Road Test @ Panorama Peak and the Notch Trail at Pole Hill Road, CO!

I'm strongly resisting the urge to lift my Big Bend that I bought mainly for mileage. Starting to seriously think about looking for a totaled Badlands to fix as a play rig. Honestly if a BB or OBX comes up for a good deal I might go that route.
