The Subieās CVT is the second main reason I decided against having another (the first being bland design). I hated the delay, even just pulling away on-road, never mind the off-road implications of that delay. Always felt to me like there was a rubber band in the drivetrain.
Iām keeping an eye on lot inventory for sure. The dealer insists it will be built at the end of March. Weāll see. I still really want a BS - itās ideal for my needs in a place with occasional snow. It also looks 100% nicer than any other SUV on the road (except maybe a Defender).
Itās not so much the production delays (and BTW I have seen people who ordered the exact same same spec/color but 2 months after me and they already have taken delivery) - itās Fordās terrible lack of communications and explanation that really bother me. I have to say the buying experience is...
They tell me itās being built at the very end of this month, which will be 7 months from ordering. Who knows when I would actually receive it, though. I have lost confidence in Ford and it leads me to question (probably irrationally, I know) their build quality and the dealerās ability to...
This is an old thread, but wondering if canceling a customer order still has no legal or financial ramifications. Iām at the point now where 6 months after I placed my order neither Ford nor the dealer can give me a delivery date. Now considering ditching the order as itās left a really bad...
Got it. Thanks for the explanation. Iāve had very little comms or useful help from both the dealer and Ford. Itās almost like theyāre doing everything they can to make the process as difficult as possible. Probably the last time I will buy a Ford.
I would love to know how Ford prioritizes orders. I also ordered (Heritage) in August and itās scheduled to be built in March! Yet I see other forum users with the same spec/color already have theirs who ordered in October. How can that happen?
Well, I received a production date at last: March 27. So thatās exactly 6 months after I ordered it. Frustrating, but at least Iāll get the exact build I wanted and for MSRP.
Anyone actually received a custom order Heritage yet? I see in the Bay Area that there are 12 available via dealers yet my order still doesnāt even have a production date yet. š¤¬
Ordered my 2023 at the end of August. I received an order number from the dealer but no email from Ford until 6 weeks later (initial email confirmed they had the order). Still no VIN or production date 4 months later. Ford are really struggling to fulfill orders. Iām now not expecting to get...
Thanks. Iām inclined to just put my order out of mind as much as possible now and just expect it next summer. If it happens earlier then itās a bonus.
Quick update: I called Ford and all they can tell me is it is still āin processingā. I believe it means the order is accepted but not yet allocated for production. I ordered 10 weeks ago.
Do what you like. Posting to the correct threads just makes using a forum easier for people to use/search.
Thereās a thread on the Limited here: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-ordered-bronco-sport-heritage-limited-edition-and-received-confirmation-email.7188/
The dealer insisted he placed the order on Aug 25 - I saw the order sheet (I signed it) and Ford (by phone) confirmed it 2 weeks ago. I can only assume that Ford kept back some orders because they are for 2023 models?
Iāve used just about every method over the years and the 1 UP is without a doubt my favorite. No plastic parts, made in USA, very sturdy and expandable.
Yeah, Iām aware of that, but I started this thread because I ordered way back in August and didnāt receive the email. Seems a number of people are in the same situation.
At last! I have an email from Ford confirming the orderā¦
āYour vehicle order is one of the early orders for the 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage, and because we are building this vehicle just for you, we wanted to share a bit more on our production process as it may impact your delivery time. As...
