I hadnāt noticed the BS any better or worse than any other vehicle Iāve owned (except for my Wrangler), until this past Thanksgiving. On that one road trip, I received two large chips from two different vehicles. Of course, one was exactly eye level right in front of the drivers view so I...
I had this TSB applied a couple days ago. I havenāt used the charging pad in quite awhile because itās so bad (installed a MagSafe mount w/ wireless charging that works great). It just generated a lot of heat and constant messages on the screen about charging stopping / starting.
Anyway, after...
The BS is the 2nd vehicle Iāve owned with this feature. Ford has done some things that help me keep it turned on sometimes- like adjusting the blower level down significantly. My Jeep will keep blasting full speed during a stop event, which depending on the outside conditions, will make a sudden...
Iāve heard of Jeep dealers doing this from time to time for some warranty related work but Iāve never run into it first hand and not for a recall. I was in a similar situation last year when I bought my BS, I had to buy a couple hours away because my local dealer had no inventory and others...
We use wireless chargers on our nightstands, so definitely capable.
It will charge when the phones are placed on the pad but just barely. A common issue is constantly cycling through charging/not charging. Removing the case seems to help with that but it still barely charges and generates a lot...
I took a closer look and itās something along those lines. Seeped out when they joined the two pieces together. One would expect they would wipe away excess when assembling. At least in this vehicle itās only seen when one is underneath.
I noticed a line of liquid on my garage floor towards the back of my bronco sport. Turned out to be water but while investigating I noticed the rear differential has a bunch of grease? on it. I thought it was seeping fluid at first but itās not that. Anyway, is this normal?
Does the hotspot youāre considering have a battery? My concern would be that battery and extreme high/low temperatures throughout the seasons.
I would consider the devices designed to plug into the OBD II port, like the sync up mentioned above. All the carriers, the last I checked, offer...
The reception is definitely better with the Sync hotspot than with a portable hotspot. I pay for it as I have two younger children without cell phones so it works great with their iPads. At $200/year for unlimited data itās pretty reasonable road trip entertainment.
Ugh, this one is annoying! I only notice it with cruise control on and my feet are resting on the floor closer to the seat. If I put my left foot up on the dead pedal and right foot up closer to the pedals, I donāt notice it.
