I had the curt hitch installed. The hitch attaches to the frame rails. I was rear ended and the hitch was pushed down and bent the frame rails down. They had to be replaced. The body shop ordered the ford hitch and the way it mounts would not do that. Just something to consider
The local ford dealer fixed ours. They performed the tsb which did not fix the problem. They then turned the rear disks and the noise went away. It has been 3 months and still working fine. No more moose calls
Had the TSB done and it didn’t fix the issue. Ford dealer says they won’t do anymore. I think there are enough people with the issue that a class action law suit would be possible. This is ridiculous.
