In a heartbeat. It's what I really wanted but the price and the wait time made it impossible. I treat this thing like an actual off roader and keep breaking it.
I assume the companies are in a pissing match and trying to sell their product. I researched it throughly before I installed it and found zero negative feedback. I should add. Zero negative feedback from anyone who actually has one.
Let us know what you think! I'm certain most of these throttle controllers are mostly the same as far as what they do. I only went with pedal commander because it was recommended by a friend and gifted to me.
You'll have to forgive me I'm a little sloppy with my self installs and explanations compared to a lot of the people on this forum. I removed the screw under this flap here ziptied the wire so it was secure and slid the controller behind that plastic panel so it's hidden. I use it through the...
I had mine in for service after my first off roading trip because of a horrible noise coming from the rear when the 4x4 engagued. When i got it back they told me there was foreign contaimanents from the factory and they changed the oil. Hasn't happened since.
I've tried to explain to people it's not that simple. You can't recreate the feeling of a touchy pedal by just pressing it harder. You don't have to set it super sensitive either. If you ever wanted something between normal and sport or normal and eco you can do that.
I use Sport mode with the pedal commander in the default setting of City +1. If I put the BS into normal mode I will put the pedal commander into Sport mode +1. In Normal mode however you'll find the BS changing gears way too often. If you turn the pedal commander off and hit the gas there's...
I just had to change my battery for the first time and I was a little surprised when Autozone said they weren't gonna touch it. After changing it myself I kind of see why though. I had no idea they could make it such a pain to change a simple thing. At least the check engine light went away...
I finally joined the sub club! Picked up a 12" jbl with 300 watt amp. I branched off the power from the amp already under the passenger seat and added a bass knob. One of the things I hated about having a sub in my Cherokee was trunk space so I screwed the amp to the box and added a quick...
I drive mine like I stole it. And in the summer if I don't use premium I get massive lag when hit the gas after the engine heats up. I just started using regular or mid again a couple weeks ago as it cooled off here in AZ.
I ended up ordering this part and installing it myself. It did require taking the driver seat out but it wasn't hard. And the message is finally gone!!!
