  1. B&O this sounds terrible

I would expect more standardization on the speakers themselves but the other chips in the stereo could be different. USB chips could be way different and some can sound like garbage.
  2. B&O this sounds terrible

There is a DAC in the Bronco Sport B&O system. There is no way to use an external DAC in the BS. The only way would be if there was an aux-in like RCA input or 3.5mm in. USB is a very deep rabbit hole in audio since the input/outputs have varying qualities. USB itself is a crap interface for...
  3. B&O this sounds terrible

Here we go. Digital is turned into analog… this process is very complex and involves many types of noise and jitter inside a DAC. DACs are not immune to noise… a perfect DAC would have Zero noise coming into it. Currently I am not aware of any standard DAC on the market whether $5 or $100,000...
  4. B&O this sounds terrible

The sound over USB is very tricky. Using an apple or other generic USB cable results in a very bright sound with no bass when set flat. If you try “audiophile” cables the sound changes a lot… not subtle. Basically flat with an Audioquest Forrest has as much bass as apple usb with bass turned up...
  5. Should I switch to premium fuel?

Considering that high RPM is more occasional than regular for you I'd say 87 is probably fine. It's the top part of the torque and RPM curve where you will feel most of it. If you feel hesitation or other weird things in the heat then you could try premium and see if the engine is more...
  6. Should I switch to premium fuel?

How hot is it? Is it 90 or above? Do you rev out the BS? By that I mean are you at 3500 or above RPM? If you have heat, sit in stop and go traffic, and/or like to get on the throttle and ride the RPMs up Premium is worth it. Premium gives you better knock resistance and results in less timing...
  7. B&O this sounds terrible

Note different music apps will sound different even over wireless... something is going on differently under the curtain on smartphones that is producing different sound signature. I wish we still had CD players. To my ears Apple sounds the best while ironically Tidal/Qobuz sound thin and...
  8. Factory tint for '22 BS models?

Our 21 BS had privacy glass which is not tint. It’s in the glass. There is still a huge benefit of adding light IR blocking tint to the rear. We added XR plus 70 which just darkened a touch but blocks a ton of heat.
  9. Delay in power delivery

Not good, that’s under spec so you will definitely have low power in summer. Also lots of engine corrections… knock sensors will be busy.
  10. Delay in power delivery

Arizona? What state? What engine? I forgot to add, the fuel quality is way different state to state. CA, AZ, NV is worst.
  11. Delay in power delivery

yes it runs “fine” but it is not optimal for heat. There is a significant power drop with heat although I’m suspicious the 2.0 might be more susceptible than the 1.5… not sure. Shell caused major hesitation and inconsistency in my mustang (AZ 110 heat) like the OP described where there was major...
  12. Delay in power delivery

A couple things. I don't recommend using Shell with ecoboost engines. There are problems with inconsistency and it gets worse in the heat. All of the tuners for mustang ecoboosts advise against Shell as it has very poor performance. The additive package they use doesn't work well for these...
