  1. Bronco Sport tent recommendation?

Yeah...and I'm usually a little hot and have to vent the tent a bit. The insulation is A1.
  2. Bronco Sport tent recommendation?

It's just under a foot closed...I think 11.5". I use the factory oem crossbars. Although I'm considering swapping for a lower profile and more utility. All-in, it makes the vehicle height around 6'8" (fits in parking structures with 7'2" height maximums with several inches to spare)
  3. Bronco Sport tent recommendation?

I've had the Roofnest Sparrow EYE for just over a year now. Put it through desert heat tests of southern AZ through the cold late-fall of the UP in Michigan. Easy enough to stay cool in the heat and warm in the cold. Sleeps 2 comfortably. Does noticeably decrease the average mpg (was getting...
  4. Great Saturday at TX Off-Rodeo in Bronco Sport

When they ask who likes roller coasters, make sure to say you do.
  5. Great Saturday at TX Off-Rodeo in Bronco Sport

Yeah, we did 5 total obstacles…so maybe by next year it’ll be wide open.
  6. Great Saturday at TX Off-Rodeo in Bronco Sport

That’s definitely bs, and not the drivable kind. I would’ve been really upset to go all the way down there and they never disclosed there would be no course. They still keep part of it big bronco only, like the huge incline. I kept trying to con our way up it, but that was a no go.
  7. Great Saturday at TX Off-Rodeo in Bronco Sport

At first, I was the only one that wanted the “roller coaster” experience, so it was just me. But after everyone saw the BS didn’t flip over and burn, they all have it a go too. Yeah, the last course was doing a few laps at the rally and trying to remember to hit the breaks at the two ramps so...
  8. Trying out some light rock crawling in NM

Checking out the southwest…stopped by Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico and unintentionally came across a lot of rocky paths. Who am I to turn down a challenge?
  9. Great Saturday at TX Off-Rodeo in Bronco Sport

Went to Texas Bronco Off-Roadeo and had a great time. Drove the backroads, got fed, and got to run the courses and learn more technicals. You don’t ride your BS, so no stress in damaging it. I recommend you go to one near you. If you go to Grey Wolf in TX, ask for Hollywood as your guide...
  10. Off Roading in sand

    Nice…thanks for the info.
  11. First car camping trip with the Bronco!

I’m 6’2 and go car camping in mine all the time. I haven’t built a platform yet, but fit with the hatch closed and about an inch or so to spare if you move the front seats up to the dash.
  12. Off Roading in sand

    A) 6 months later, do you still like the compressor? And; B) How long does it take to air back up to ~32 with this compressor?
  13. Post the best photos you've got of your Bronco Sport

Enjoying 1st weekend of fall, already longing for the 1st days of spring…
