Officially out of the waiting room after 7 months! Gave up on my June order that is still sitting in Mexico and was lucky to find exactly what I had ordered at a dealership 2 hours away. Picked it up today!

Exactly! Thank you. I can only speak to what I’ve been told by the new dealership that I’m dealing with. That’s what they were told by their Ford Rep regarding the June builds. Maybe it will be different for US builds.

I’m only offering what I was told by the new dealership I’m now dealing with - my old dealership that I placed my order with kept telling me they had no information when my June build would arrive. I started searching, found a dealership 2.5 hours away that had a badlands exactly what I ordered...

No I was told they won’t be finished and shipped until they finish all other customer and dealer stock orders first, then the June builds will be brought back to the plant to be finished and shipped.

If you check the PTI info it’s probably also missing the RCM chip.

I was told it is bec for them to bring the June orders back to the plant and put the missing chips in them they have to stop production which they won’t do. The new dealership I’m dealing with told me that those June orders will not be brought back to the plant to be finished until after all...

Sounds like you are in the “ June Desert rot club” most of the vehicles built in June are still missing the RCM chip and were sent to rot in the Mexican desert. Builds since June have been completed and shipped. So they have the chips, I was told that for them to bring the desert rot orders...

I was told by the new dealer I’m dealing with that also has builds from June sitting that they have been told those builds will not be brought back to the plant to be finished until AFTER they have completed all 2021 customer orders and stock orders, they won’t stop the production lines to bring...

No after all that they dealer started to give me the run around on when that one was arriving so started search again….lucky to find exactly what I ordered (with black roof) has tow package (which I didn’t order) but will take!

I have been doing the same and just found one today 2.5 hours away that is confirmed built and shipped! I will be cancelling my original “desert rot” deposit and grabbing this one….ETA is end of this month ??

If you click on PTI info that’s where it will show you the chips/modules installed- it should show a date for each one….the last one for me shows “null” that’s the one I’m still waiting for

I was able to put mine in a few months ago….mine still shows it’s missing the RCM on ETIS ☹️

I can’t say I’ve heard anything concrete ☹️ I was told those dates were “worst case” but now as we are getting closer with no updates I’m worried those dates are just a pipe dream.

I’m Feb 10 and mine is sitting waiting for the chip ☹️

Just wondering how many of us are in the Desert Club? Ordered Feb 10/21, Built June 11/21 has been sitting in the desert ever since. NO explanation from Ford. Oxford White, Badlands with Badlands Package & Co Pilot 360+ Current ETA Nov 3/21 I’m in Ontario Canada.
