This is a light mount from blazer international products. It bolts on behind the license plate with the same screws. Stock it sticks out past the bumper but if you trim it back to the light mounting holes it gives you just the right amount of coverage. This does not affect any warranties...
OK. I've had Jack for just over a year. I do love him, but there are some things that I would like to grab an engineer by his necktie and shake him! Sorry, not condoning violence, just venting frustration.
1. The license plate lights glare into the back up camera! I bought an angle...
Just got first oil change and tire rotation. Was free at the cashier, 2 days later they charged me all 42K points! Got no points for service there. I think I'm going somewhere else for service.
My thought would be an electrical relay. When the back up lights turn on, the relay turns license plate lights out. You don't really need license plate lights when your backing.
Ordered bl/bl 3/23, built 8/20, picked it up 9/20. Worth the wait. I'm officially out of the waiting room. My dealer was shocked that I got it considering how sought after it was.
Thoughts and prayers for those still here...
My wife asked me what I thought about changing to a Maverick. I told her they came from the same plant, we'd be starting over at the bottom of the list.
She said "nevermind!"
With BS hitting the streets and the backlog of orders, there is money to be made in developing aftermarket parts. I'm looking for a rear tire carrier and better looking bumpers!
I'm with you, it wasn't worth the extra $1500 that ford wanted for the 235 upgrade and you'll have to replace tires anyway, you can get better tires for less than $1500. Also, there is debate whether it can handle 245s so maybe they'll have it settled.
