They checked battery and all checked ok. They didn’t replace battery when I asked, so did it myself with AGM Everstart from Walmart. Since changing the battery, there have been no issues. The recall notification is still showing on the app, but the dealer said it can take awhile before that...
Of course our Bronco worked perfectly while at the dealership. They said they checked the battery and said they load tested it too, so nothing was done. I decided to upgrade the battery from the lead acid to an AGM and did that on Monday on my own. So far no reoccurrence of the electrical...
After waiting an hour, I went out and tried it, and it started - no problem.
just out of warranty- by time, only 35k miles.
I think they load tested the battery.
For the past 3 weeks I have been getting random no-starts. It takes about 5-10 minutes to reset and then typically it will start. This morning after several attempts, it won’t start. I thought battery, but the dealer checked the battery during the recent PCM/BCM update recall and said it was...
Recent recall work done at dealership, and comment on paperwork was that coolant reservoir was dry. More diagnostic work needed. Advisor asked me to keep an eye on it. Any thoughts?
I can
I would like to see the before and after pictures. I personally think the issue is something that Ford needs to fix. I’m currently working with my dealership on next steps to replace all the trim.
Anyone have any good tips on keeping the black plastic trim looking clean. Automatic car wash didn’t work, and even after hand washing it it still looked dull. Today I sprayed some trim shine on it and it helped. Just checking if others have found something that works well.
Yes. I noticed it when only opening the door. The noise is on a timer. It’s hard to believe that it would need to run for 10 minutes with just opening the door.
I noticed at 55 mph, it feels like the transmission is in too high of a gear. It’s running at about 1400 RPM and it sounds like it’s lugging the engine too much. Gear 8 is ok for cruising at 70 mph on interstate.
The Bronco Sport sits quietly in the garage. Opening the door triggers the headlights to come on. After closing the door you can hear a noise from the headlights for 10 minutes. What is that? My guess is the LED headlights have a cooling fan? Or is it something unrelated?
