I have had my Badlands w/ Badlands (w/ moon roof), tow, 360+, Falken 235/65/17, in Cyber Orange for just over two weeks now and here are some early impressions.
Have driven 1250 miles with three trips of 200 to 300 miles each.
No significant off road time yet.

Very comfortable for both driver and passenger, I'm 6ft, 200#, passengers were two different guys and my wife on the three trips. All front seat.

Got up to 34 mpg on highway, 25-26 mpg around town.

Even with Falkens it is quiet on the road.
Running the tires at 33 psi, cold in AM.

The B & O sound system is very nice, mostly Sirrius XM.
Both wife and I love the Cyber Orange. The paint job is outstanding quality.

I am new to the advance cruise control and the lane centering- loved them both driving on US Hwy 12, a curvy two lane, 50-55 mph road w/o much traffic.

Driving in Eco mode works for most conditions. I wish it would stay in the last selected mode when you turn it off instead of returning to normal mode.

I am coming from a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk ( 110,000 miles) and two previous Jeep Grand Cherokees. I was happy with all three Jeeps.

What was better in the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
  1. Low Range in 4x4 when you need it.
  2. Garage door opener
  3. Driver side grab handle
  4. Tow hook in the rear
  5. Engine information better; oil and transmission temps, engine temps in degrees,
  6. Has power tail gate, which is useful but had given me problems over the years.
  7. More useful side storage bins in back.

What is better in the Bronco Sport ?

  1. More power, better acceleration.
  2. Quieter driving.
  3. Headlights better at night.
  4. Better visibility all around, can , see right front fender.
  5. Front camera very useful.
Why did we chose the Bronco Sport Badlands ?
  1. We like the design.
  2. Think the Badlands will do everything we need in off road, mud, snow driving that I need for my fishing, bird hunting and birding here in Idaho.
  3. The Jeep Cherokee is a bit outdated with a re do scheduled for 2023.
  4. At my age, this is likely the last vehicle I will get for myself and I like it.

trailhawk was our original thought when we were looking. however there are just so many of them, we like to steer away from the crowd. cherokee trailhawks did have a fantastic interior i will give them that.
still loving the fact we picked a bronco sport.

Thanks for the post. I almost pulled the trigger on a Cherokee Trailhawk twice over the last few years, waiting for the Bronco Sport to come out, but decided to keep waiting. I pick up my Badlands this coming weekend. One thing we really liked about the Trailhawk was the comfortable seats, so I'm glad to hear you find the Bronco Sport very comfortable.
