Look, I'm here for info not to argue. I get that this is an enthusiasts site but -my perspective- it's a car, not a sacred cow.
I hope this vehicle turns out to be what I want. And I hope the same for you.
I guess now I'll just wait it out until I can see one myself ...
I'm confused. How is a measurement pronounced not accurate when what distance measured is not reported ?
Neither is there a qualifier given, such as, "with the seats in their forward most position" or, "the minimum floor length is".
If a different result can be acheived with a different front...
Good find. Here's a link to a Gov Can site where the ratings are listed (sorry my screen print fu isn't working)

ON EDIT
Well we got our pup. Dad was a svelte 70lbs so this guy might be about the same in time.
Will be looking for cargo dimensions posted, tho I get the feeling he might be riding in the good seats (back seats) most of the time
Too me, cars are all about wants for the individual, but anyhoo ...
Big Broncos: - the foundational design aspect of open air driving. I've little interest in that and would rather have a hard body with optimal sound proofing, no seams etc.
- low tow rating
- endless hype and waiting. (I have...
I guess that's going to depend a lot on environmental and service use. I gotta say tho that Escort ZX2 has been a great car. 200k miles, mostly orig and still in good shape despite brine use in winter.
The 10 YO F350 has ~110K miles, quite a few of those off pavement. It carries a lot of weight...
Agree. Resource roads here are generally 50mph limit but of course travel speed should always reflect road conditions.
Question is, how the Sport would hold up to that kind of use over time - especially at higher speeds. Off highway trips for 3-5 years and then trade it in I imangine would be...
I don't see enough difference from what else is available in the series, particularly with regard to engine/transmission/off road performance.
Moreover, to use the '65 Mustang example, for the car enthusiast a lot can change in 55 years !
I'm no futurist but there seems to be a lot going on...
Thanks. Should be ~1,000lb all in, with the basics anyway, so around 1/2 the TV rating to start. Will be wider and longer tho.
Just percolating ideas and options. Want to be ready for next year because this year has been a blow out for trips and most recreation.
I'm also wondering about the tow rating. I don't know anything about towing.
I do know hauling 3,000 lbs of camper is different than 3k of dirt. And that when off highway it's probably better to be under max on any weight rating.
Is there something similar with towing, ie size matters as...
^ hey, metro van here. Yah, we've started wet doggie season with a bang. 4" of rain in the last 36 hrs according to my jar outside.
Wife has told me they only smell if they are already dirty. Prepping me for regular dog washing duty I figure...
Another great pic !
I think those guys would push me into a Ranger tho, especially with all the rain we get here, LOL.
x3 on measurements, preferably from the top of the rear seat backs and on a BL/FE model, which I think may have a raised floor for the spare tire. IIRC there was a post way...
Thanks. Yes, a suv type would make more sense. Hoping the cargo space will workout. Would prefer seats up in the rear.
Or maybe we'll end up with a smaller dog !!
Hello All. First time poster here, been enjoying the site...
I'm considering of the Ranger Tremor as an alternative for a few reasons.
For the two of us plus future dog our use will be: primary vehicle: round-about-town; transporting said dog to trailheads for walks etc; and a four...
