Based on the rear measurements to hit 3.1 cubic feet you would have to drop the rear floor close to 4 inches. I have never removed the tire to make this measurement but I will try and estimate it based on the mount locations and see if that is the case or not.
Since there are no custom setups yet we used three items together to protect the back from our Newfoundlands. It works almost as good as the custom sized option. May be overkill but if you have ever seen a wet drooling newfoundland this is the bare minimum needed...
I got one a week ago and it quickly spread. Takes about two weeks to get the glass. Had the same thing happen with my last new car. Had two windshields in a row get cracked and had to wait each time for the replacement.
Dont think there is an issue with the angle just bad luck.
Looks like Rough Country has released the 1.5" lift for those who do not have a Badlands or First edition.

Here you go. Its fairly small at 11" tall and 8.75" over the wiper housing and 36" long. Not sure if you should drive with it open but I did a small pull forward and backup with it open and you can dismiss the warning. At slow speeds there is no audible warning. There is a small visual...
59" and 76" are the min and max lengths to the back of the front seats. The way they were taken is 59 is from the tailgate to the front edge of the rear seats when down. 76" was with the front seats all the way forward then leaned as far forward as they would go.
I will make a key for all the...
Thanks Im glad it is helping.
76" is with the seat all the way forward and the back tilted as far forward as possible. With the power seats this is actually a little disappointing as they don't tilt very far forward even on the passenger side. This leaves 18.5" between the seat and the dash...
It compresses some but I would not expect it to go completely flat. I just went out and put my weight on it and got 1" of compression at the front. That is about half the rise so maybe with some time you could get it to compress down but not all the way.
On the BL with a full size spare there...
I suspect the idea was one light color that worked with the Area 51, orange, ebony, navy, and black brown color schemes. That said a tan toned to match the leather and brown/orange fabrics, keep the light grey for the navy and Area51 would have been a nice touch.
I have posted as comprehensive set of measurements as I could think to take. Hope it helps others. The big dogs finally have their new Bronco Sport!
Bronco Sport BL+BL Cargo Comprehensive Measurement Attempt
Here is every measurement I could think of for the cargo area of the Bronco Sport Badlands package. All measurements in inches taken three times and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. If anyone has questions or needs something I missed just ask.
Picked up our Kodiak Brown BL+BL Sport yesterday. Looks great in bright light and gets dark almost black at night. Going to take interior measurements to post in the next few days. Will post some picks when I get good ones.
Congratulations. If you get a chance could you please measure from the floor to the inside roof of the cargo area. This seems to be the one measurement no one has done yet. Thanks.
