I can't recall the vehicle I first learned to drive. I remember my father had a Ford "tank" he used for work but he gave me one lesson and then signed my up for Driver's Ed. (His name was Ed... but that didn't stand for education.)
My very FIRST car was a Ford Maverick. Great sedan/sporty...
@Dude : Thanks for the detailed info. I did check and it is set to allow carplay when locked. Not sure what the issue may have been - it's only happened once... and my wife was there to save the day!
Odd this question should come up! I was driving yesterday and my Waze wouldn't come up! I tried the usual stuff and finally said "Siri, open Carplay." It told me I couldn't do that with the phone locked. My wife unlocked the phone and it started working! I never had that happen before...
Marriage is about compromise:
When I was looking at the Bronco Sport, they had 2 vehicles that matched the features I was most interested. One was in Eruption Green and the other was in Cactus Grey. I really liked the Green, but my wife liked the Cactus Grey -- so we compromised... and got...
I had a Ford Maverick back in '75/76. Just absolutely LOVED that thing! When I was looking at the Bronco, I noticed that it has turned into a TRUCK. They shoulda left the Maverick alone and brought back the older-sized Ford Ranger (that thing looks like a 150, now!)
Took my new (to me) BS OB out for a drive. Full tank of gas and it said I had 363 miles to empty. Halfway trip on the 80 mile trip and it said I had 391 MTE. Finished the trip with 80 miles back and a reading of 251 MTE. What do you use if you can't trust the gallons in tank indicator OR the...
If they are REAL leather (not the genuine-imitation), then I'd clean with a saddle soap (like you'd use to clean shoes). After cleaning, remember that leather is really the skin of a cow and needs moisturizers. I haven't used it for car interiors, but for my belts, boots and holsters, I get...
Rushman: Hadn't thought about the lug nuts! I just traded my 2014 Escape for a BS Outer Banks... but before I did, they were rotating the tires and the lug nuts had frozen and broken the posts. Cost me $250 at the dealer to get them replaced (just in time to trade it in!)
== Thanks, SoCalSig. Told my wife I was looking at this and letting down the seats was her 1st question! (We have dogs that like the run of the back.) Making a mount (like the kind they created to lock the shade open) for actual aluminum bar makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for the info. I DID find one on Amazon and says it is for the Bronco Sport, so I'm gonna give this one a try! (Hooks onto the back headrests and has a stick-on holder for the front of the shade.)
Did you ever get an answer on this one? I just got a 2023 BS Outer Banks and it doesn't have the Cargo Management System. So - the table won't work and thinking maybe some kind of retractable cover (like my old 2014 Escape Titanium used to have.)
Hi... and thanks for accepting my request to join the group! My name is Joe and I recently moved from a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium to a 2023 Bronco Sport.
I've always liked the look of the Bronco and the size of the Sport, but read a lot about noise levels, ride, etc. Finally took a test drive...
