Do you have to get the tow package for the full-sized spare in the Badlands? I thought I read somewhere that the full-sized spare was standard for all Badlands models.
I'm sort of okay with the wait. Up to six months is probably all I can handle and as long as I know I'll get everything I ordered, I'm okay with that. The temptation to buy one off the lot that has everything but the 360 is so tempting!
I was told by a Ford rep (FWIW) that if they accept your order, it means they will build it with the options requested. I am a worrier, so any reassurance helps.
This is the first time I've seen this pop up on Ford's website. My Badlands is scheduled for the week of 6/20 and I'm hoping this won't affect me (or any of you who already have accepted orders). I ordered the 360 assist package and this has me thinking - I haven't seen one car with this...
I've been having similar debates. I sold my car last month because I got a great offer and being without one has made the wait even harder. I have found multiple Badlands similar to the one I ordered without the 360 Assist and I have been tempted to settle for one of those, but in the long run...
For whatever reason, my dealer wants to have control of it. My sales dude forwarded me the order acceptance email from Ford (addressed to me, but emailed to them) and he called me with the build date and VIN (no email).
These bronco side light covers look super cute, but I can't decide by the photo if blocking most of the light reduces the safety function of them. What do you think?

I meant no disrespect to owners of the Area 51 color. I was only stating that it's a blah color - to ME. If you love it - great. It really seems like you took it personally, but it was not a slam on you or anyone else. I have a right to voice my opinion and we can agree to disagree without...
That's the second most popular color. My friend's picked that and I didn't care for it at first, but it has grown on me. It's a nice subtle color, but more unique than the actual grays (I see more green). I like it!
It's available to order for the Badlands in the Ford accessories store for $440 installed (cheaper than when having it built). My understanding is the towing capacity is cut in half when installing after it's built.
LOL - I'm not bashing you or anyone else for your color choice. Everyone sees color differently. I am stating my opinion of a color I don't care for. It doesn't hurt my feelings that only 4 people picked the red I like in my color poll. To each his own. Sensitive much?
I have a hot pepper red on order and hadnt seen it in person until today. I am really surprised at how much more burnt orange it is than red. Most of the pics I've seen looked more red. Very unique color. I love it!
I also saw the Area 51 in person and I am still baffled as to why it's so...
I was going to get one and then read several reviews where it bent and/or dented the frame. It also mentions it in the manual that you shouldn't attach anything to the door latch. I would love to have one, but it's not worth the risk to me.
I'm not surprised that Area 51 and cactus gray are in the lead so far, but I am surprised at how few people picked red. I always thought red was a popular car color, but maybe that's just me ?. I wonder if it's because this particular shade of red has more orange undertones? Either way, I'm okay...
I enjoy reading about the decision process on why you picked a particular color. I've always been a fan of red and burnt orange cars, so the Hot Pepper Red was an easy choice for me.
The velocity blue is a close second followed by the cyber orange. I'm not a big yellow fan, but I like...
