Misleading advertising aside, it's also the responsibility of the consumer to do research when purchasing a product. I mean when I look at a Bronco Sport I've never thought to myself I bet this car has true advanced 4x4 capabilities. It's a compact crossover not a truck.
It's been like this every model year. Used to be donuts or a full size spare depending on trim from 21-24. Now its tire inflator or spare depending on trim and/or SAS package upgrade.
They will turn off eventually. You can also unlock and relock your car a couple times and they will shut off.
The easiest thing that worked for me for awhile was changing the setting for the autolamp timing to off or zero. I don't remember the exact wording.

That repair won’t be an issue. I’d ask for both the warranty and the maintenance plans to be honored for your time. Chances are they don’t go for that but I’d be asking for more than they offered just to negotiate something else.
Purchase it through @Granger Ford. The prices go up each year on the plans so if you know you are going to purchase one its cheaper earlier. You can see the prices on their website and they have threads on this forum about it.
Others have reported and posted pics similar to yours over the years. It almost looks like something was spilled there as there also appears to be a lighter spot behind it and around the edges of the peeled section it has the same washed out appearance.
