As mentioned above it drips from the rain that sits on top of the door seal at the roof line and drops onto the seat after you open the door. I'm prepared now so I keep a microfiber towel in the car! No flies on this guy!
I added my cover recently. Just got tired of seeing the exposed topside of the engine. One thing I would add is to shop around. I've noticed there's quite a competitive field out there looking for your business. I'm finding the same is true as I'm still searching for the hood insulation pad.
I don't like opening the door and getting in after it rains. First time I didn't pay attention and realized the seat was wet from the roof dripping on it. It's a straight drop onto the drivers seat.

Purchased on ebay, they took a couple of weeks to get them as they are made to order I believe. They have a pretty simple installation, just a couple of clips on each. I did have to massage them a little up front to make sure I had plenty of clearance between the wheel and cover. No clearance...
That's OK, I have enough love for the both of us! That's what we used to tell our kids when they said that. Good luck with the gas hikes, that really bites.
I've installed these MGP covers on some of my other vehicles, I thought it dressed up the wheels when installed. I wasn't sure what color to get with the Area 51 blue, I think the yellow was a good match.
I bought a Subaru Forester, kept it for 5 weeks and moved on so I could buy the BS that I have. No regrets whatsoever. Maybe one, should have bought it first!
