  1. Sasquatch Tire - fit in trunk?

We would love to hear from someone who has tried this. I believe you need to take out the carpet and may need to trim the foam blocks. People have put a 245/65 KO2 in there. I would try it on mine, but I am on the injured reserve list and unable to do that for the time being........
  2. Sasquatch Tire - fit in trunk?

There is evidence, to say it won’t. Specifically, Melissa Clarks article, in bronco nation. But and I’ll emphasize, but she had a preproduction 2025, which may have had an effect on either the spare tire well itself or the tire. So, until someone posts a picture, of a 2025 Sasquatch, with an OEM...
  3. Sasquatch Tire - fit in trunk?

...to put a full size Sasquatch tire in the spare tire compartment yet? I know it doesn't fit with the carpet in there. But folks are able to put in a KO2 in a 245 by removing the carpet, so hoping the Sasquatch tire will fit in there as well. It's a 235/65/17, but apparently a large 235...
  4. Best Recovery Boards and placement for trips

Do you know if the 235/70R17 will fit the non Badlands models without rubbing? I know the Badlands have a higher road clearance than my BB, but I’m not sure about the clearance in the wheel well. A little smoother ride would be nice. I assume handling would be somewhat affected as well.
  5. Best Recovery Boards and placement for trips

Would a 245 give better traction than the 235? I was leaning towards getting a 235/70 next tire as well but am wondering if the 245/65 may be better
  6. Hill Climb with new tires!

they are lighter than the BFG KO2 in the same size. My issue is Discount Tires lists the KO2 at 34.5 pounds when in fact they are 44.2 pounds. Part of my decision on the KO2 was based on the incorrect weight…. The Mickey Thompson’s are 39 pounds.
  7. Hill Climb with new tires!

I originally went with KO2s because of the extra weight, and the thicker sidewall. The terraine out here in AZ is is unforgiving. I was planning on putting KO3s on the Black Diamond but I've got about 6 more months to decide.
  8. Hill Climb with new tires!

I loved them. They are great for the desert. I did notice a slight decrease in acceleration at first but quickly forgot about it.
  9. Hill Climb with new tires!

Nam 3 How do you like the KO2"s on the obx? I still running with originals that came vehicle.
  10. Hill Climb with new tires!

...Coming up on 9,000 miles. I’m on my 4th set of tires. I buy a lot of tires so I didn’t feel guilty using the satisfaction guarantee. I had the KO2. I liked them but found them too heavy. I switched to the Mickey Thompson’s. They are lighter and more aggressive. And yes I can feel the...
  11. Best Recovery Boards and placement for trips

Mark is right. I aired down my KO2's on my Jeep Liberty and cut a sidewall on a rocky road. But if you're just driving in sand, or are already stuck, it works vey well. I got the 235/65 R17 tires as an option, and my next set will be 235/70R17. That extra sidewall makes a big difference in...
  12. Review video: Driving sports TV badlands off-road review

...1/2" taller and 0.3" narrower than those. Some extra rubber between me and the road will help smooth out the potholes on NM roads. I had some KO2's on my Jeep Liberty that rubbed at full turn. But the only time you use a full turn is making a U-Turn, or off road, and both are at low...
  13. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Not yet off road but clearance doesn’t seem much different from that of the 245/65’s, probably due to the narrower tread width. Have bounced it over some pretty good speed bumps with wheels turned and nothing scraped. I’m not sure, but there might be some interference with the trim levels other...
  14. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Have you taken it off road yet? I've read that the 235/70R17's don't rub, but I'd like confirmation. I put oversized KO2 tires on my Jeep Liberty and rubbted ed at full steering, but it was never a problem. It made a big difference off road both in traction and clearance.

What year you got? I just got the same green in the 2025 Badlands Sasquatch

That’s super impressive man. I bet those tires combined with the Badlands drivetrain is super fun!

another example of KO2 traction! i ended up having to drop into the ruts. They were filled with water so I couldn’t tell how bad they were! Then I got out and looked! Holy crap! Check the inside of the right rut where the skid plate acted like a giant trowel!!! Yes I love my KO2s!!! LOL!
  18. Tire recommendations

Yeah I have Discount Tire to have a couple mistakes here and there so I always just check manufacturers website! But yes I love the performance of the KO2’s. They pulled me through over a foot of snow with no issues at all.
  19. Tire recommendations

well crap that explains things. Discount Tire lists the 245 KOs at 34.5 pounds! Doah! Lesson learned check manufacturer site. That being said love the KO2s.
  20. Tire recommendations

34 lbs is awesome for that size tire. My KO2’s are 44 lbs I think and I love them but when they wear down I might consider something lighter just to see if I like that better.
