Grandson’s surgery is complete. Femur break has healed, menisci are good - no significant damage. ACL, MPFL and MCL all repaired. Overall a very positive outcome. Appreciate the prayers.

Breakfast this morning: Eggs over easy, toast and maple glazed smoked pork belly.

Fried up a mess of catfish, fried taters and hush puppies last weekend for dinner. Good stuff.

I'm big on smoking meat - brisket, pork belly, pork butt, ribs and homemade summer sausage. I do about 4 or 5 briskets each year, pork belly monthly and ribs several times each summer.

Most likely the fix would be applied if it's available. From what I've read so far, that may not be the case. I know that car dealers cannot sell cars from their lots with open recalls pending, so I'm relatively certain that you will have a updated vehicle for delivery.
