Bought new tires once w/o road-hazard to save some cash. Drove @ 12 miles, and changed lanes. Drove over one of those “dots” that divide the lanes — “dot” was gone, bolt was not. Had to replace Firestone AT tire (@ $200 at the time). NEVER get tires without road-hazard again!

I, too, had the guard lift up on my BS — (only it took @ a year). Seems like over time water and dirt get under turned up edges and turn sticky tape loose. Fortunately, they’re not too expensive to replace — just consider them “wear” items ?
Guess (hope) I was lucky — got warranty from Granger prior to this CA nonsense showing up (got it in ’21). Warranty shows as valid on FordPass app.
I’ll deal with any problems when/if they arise since the only other thing out there I like right now is the Rover Defender, and it’s priced above my...
Sounds like a great trip. Brings back some great memories — I lived in that area as a kid, and remember many day trips to the castle. Thanks for the pics.
