Maybe just wait until you see one in the flesh. Everything is speculation, yours tends radically towards the negative. I understand that is a common psychological buffer against perceived impending disappointment, but you take it to the level of clinical.
We fear what we don't understand...
I'm not sure that Ford was using Troller as a testbed, more likely they gobbled up a potentially market share-threatening competitor. I do hope they learned some lessons from the platform - specifically the utilitarian aspects - and apply them to their corporate knowledge database vis a vis the...
There's no reason why it would have to move up with the gate. No matter the gate configuration, swing the tire to the side first. Zero change to the way it was done in the early Broncos.
By your definition of a "real Bronco" being full-sized, that's a path to certain disappointment for you.
I have zero doubt that the small orange SUV and the small SUV seen testing recently is in fact exactly that - a small SUV. Call it X4, or anything random... we have no information on what...
I should hope so. The Edge is already wider than a Wrangler by 2 inches, and longer than the FSB by 5 inches. Bigger than the Edge would make it quite a porker if it is indeed Wrangler they have in their sights.
If I'm not mistaken, Ford already has a Suburban-fighter on the market, little...
The '19 Ranger is smaller than the '20 Explorer in all exterior dimensions except height. Explorer is heavier. Explorer has a seating capacity of seven, I wouldn't expect the (4-door) Bronco to manage more than five. Ranger has a longer wheelbase, no telling where that will be on the 4-door...
"The 2021 Ford Bronco was originally going to debut as a 2020 model year vehicle, however the project was delayed after the fascia design received some criticism in focus groups."
That's a new twist.
I'm guessing they're not "anti-roll cars", but anti-roll bars.
And... it sounds strange that they would seek to apply the name to shocks, springs, strut braces, differentials, and gearshifts. Is this for a "package" option, or is it for a line of OEM performance parts, a la Mopar, TRD, SVO...
If the new pony is a poser, I'll just take the $40k I have earmarked for a '22 Bronco and upgrade my '71 Bronco - it could use A/C and a driveline modernization from the carburated 351W and 3-speed auto...
