WeatherTech floor liners here - work great.
Phone holder plugs into that extra hole between the cupholders. Win win. Had a 3D buddy make it for me. Somebody should make them - got the idea from a post here about the fob holder sold on Etsy.
lots of options for fiesta and focus accelerator pedal only, spacer. not sure if mounting position is the same or not. basically raises accelerator pedal about an inch. some are machined aluminum, or 3D printed.
Oh, that makes me think I need to print something that will screw onto the big oil bottle and hold it in the filler. Just so I don't have to stand there and hold the bottle almost the whole time.
Great work compiling that! I’d add that you should avoid sites that charge for STL’s, as the overwhelming majority are free, and the paid sites contain mostly remixes of preexisting free files.
There are many 3D parts around but the available search engines are not that good. I have attached a list of search engines that focus on STL files. The STL file format is the standard format for parts designed for 3D printers. Once you find what you are looking for, you have to download the...
I am pretty sure there is no way to save the points. While I know you said that you do not have anything that you want to buy you might still want to buy something like a cargo organizer SearchDisplay. Something like a cargo organizer will fit most car trunks so not just for a Bronco Sport...
Don't listen to these old Fogeys. If it makes you happy do it! Etsy is probably your best bet for items like that. There are a ton of folks with 3D printers who can make anything you like.
It should be noted that’s during printing. Once printed, they’re totally stable.
In my case, the printer is in the garage, mostly for available supplies storage and noise, but keeping the fumes & stray crap isolated is a definite benefit.
Also, I’m in Phoenix, so humidity is essentially a...
My neighbor is big into 3D printing. He made one of these for me. It screws to the top of a 1 gal oil jug. Makes it very convenient to pour used oil into the jug the new oil came in. The hole on the side is a vent.
all of you doing 3D printing need to be aware of the dangers of the particles created. Especially units with cf or other binders. CF makes for great parts, but is not so good for the lungs. Make sure you have adequate ventilation. I know of a good report on it. I’ll have to dig it up.
Good luck with it, I know from FB some people have had issues with it. My K1 Max has been dam near flawless with just over 500 hours of printing, PLA, PETG and some Nylon
I just bought a K1C and haven't printed anything with it yet.
I have been using 3D printed parts in my work for 25+ years. I have used printers at work off/on for 20+ years. The ability to use CF filaments is what pushed me over the edge to buy one, and the fact that I got a refurb and eBay...
What printer did you get? As others have said be mindful of the material you are printing. PLA for anything inside. PETG, Nylon for outside. I also be careful where and what you print. If printing inside I would do PLA only. The fumes, toxins from some of the other filaments are dangerous.
...the absolute boss where it comes to strength and heat/UV resistance, and overkill for most applications. Remember that it's not just the material, but the print orientation that impacts strength heavily.
One of my favorite YT channels (Superfast Matt) has a great video on automotive 3D...
