As some people have mentioned, the choice for me would be between Bronco Sport and Ranger if looking to upgrade to a truck from small SUV, crossover type vehicle.
Though, getting what I want in a Ranger would be pretty pricey compared to Bronco Sport.
If you want an entertaining sidetrack...
I painted a bathroom a similar color to my cactus gray BS (weird name for the color btw) and it had a similar effect. It looks light blue on the bathroom walls. The paint by itself, the matching swatch, and even painting it on something else outside of the bathroom - - it looks gray, not blue...
There are a couple stretches I drive that are great for sport mode. Particularly a spot where, from a stop sign, I've got to merge onto a 60mph road. Also I occasionally drive sport mode just for fun.
Note: Put the screen on the Intelligent 4WD display next time you use sport mode, and notice...
That, and I'd like to remote-into my cameras from the FordPass app on my phone. That would be pretty darn cool if it was like a rolling Ring doorbell camera.
That looks good. I think the letters should probably be black to begin with (maybe except for black BS).
I did the same thing on the back of mine a while back (Plasti Dip), but decided to peel the "Ford" letters and chrome oval, so that it's chrome over black. I think it looks better how you...
Since discovering the front washer thanks to this thread, I've used it a few times (mostly for novelty purposes), but a rear washer would actually be useful more often.
That said, I don't really need either and seems like something I'll end up needing to fix eventually.
Dude! It does have one. It even came in handy, clearing up the camera as I was pulling into the garage.
Weird that there isn't a back one, because that camera gets filthy on wet, dirt roads.
From weekend jaunt to the most middle-of-nowhere place I know (Waterville Plateau, WA). This must have been early in the trip, because it still looks pretty clean:
I know when I listen to audio over Bluetooth, I get input lag -- like if I hit fast-forward on my phone, it takes a second to actually fast-forward. But, if I'm plugged in, using Android Auto, there's no lag.
In my Dodge Ram, I have an aftermarket receiver and there's no Bluetooth lag, even...
This isn't exactly on-topic, but I really don't get the point of "panic" buttons on key fobs. I would never use it, except frequently on accident.
So, I disabled it, by opening the key fobs and messing with stuff.
Oh wow, in that original post I was only at 8500 miles..
I just came back from a long weekend road trip and nearly got up to 15k (14997 miles in about 8 months...). My main problem with this vehicle is I can't stop driving it.
I've gone up to Capitol Forest a couple times, lots of fun...
I just recently switched from 225s to 245s and one of the first things I noticed was that the tires are now wide enough that they line up better with the fender, almost like I installed spacers (which I have not).

I thought mine had too, just about the time it started getting pretty cold out a couple months ago. But, since then, on warmer days, it seems to work like it did before.
I sometimes turn it off, I sometimes don't.
Heavy or not, I'm getting them installed at Discount Tire on Saturday.
I'm going to keep the Pirelli's as emergency backup since they still have a lot of tread left -- but not new enough to sell.
This thread got derailed from OP wanting to know about light AT tires, to suggestions about 39lb...
They're 39lbs, which is 13lbs heavier than the stock Pirelli's. That said, I think I'm going to buy them soon, mainly because they look cool and all the reviews and videos I've seen rate them very highly.
Among other tires mentioned in this thread, I think only Wildpeak AT4s are heavier.
