Back in January, Ford Authority exclusively reported that Ford dealerships would have the option to invest in showroom upgrades or dedicated Ford Bronco standalone store options to showcase the brand new SUV, and dealers that choose to do either will receive more allocations based on the level...
Makes sense but is that a good strategy? To me if I'm going for a higher sport why not just get a base bronco and add all the extras. I just see the sport as the entry level bronco. The next levels will likely fit above the bronco. Pure guess.
If I had to make an assumption, say you have a priority 10 and I have the same 10, each Badlands tow, etc. Your dealer turns 10,000 vehicle volume per year with four and a half star customer rating and several blue oval awards. Mine moves 53,000 per year 4.9 rating...mine moves up the line. If...
Lol you can keep your heated seats/steering. (signed ice cold northern guy) I had it standard on the dodge, never used it. Having it standard wouldn't be a big deal.
JRL the 2.3 is for the bronco. Based on hints my buddy dropped, the sport and bronco aren't the end of this. Dealers aren't...
Not a chance they discontinue the badlands. May be a while before you can get one and if the 2.0 is an issue, doubt they spread that across other trims. The 1.5 seems to be their option.
There was actual discussion regarding available 2.0 engines so that may be a commodity issue. I too have little insight but I read a lot. All that I have seen goes along with what I've been seeing for a while. The chaos known as 2021 will yield a more cautious approach for MY22. I am guessing...
You know what...screw Ford and all this waiting. I'm sick of it...oh...wait.
GM has 10,000 full-sized SUVs parked in Texas awaiting chips
guess everyone feeling the effects.
awesome! Enjoy the ride. I use to be a chicagoland commuter working fire and safety for the speeway in Joliet. Miss those days it was always a great crowd. And the Charleston Resteraunt made a voodoo chicken plate which was the highlight of my trip. The badlands is a great ride. Took my son's...
Ford was caught in a difficult situation bottom line. Their job is still about making profit. All we have is speculation fueled by frustrations. Nobody knows what they are doing and what the logistics are. They should be more up front and utilize a team to keep those waiting informed or at least...
Oh Lord...that's messed up. Dealer I worked with all of them had access and could pull up any time. The one I bought the dealer got an alert mine was on the truck pulling in the lot. He grabbed both keys and stashed them in his desk drawer before anyone could get them. Funny how some dealerships...
I don't know exactly how they operate the web based ordering system and who has access to it, maybe Ford marketing is just that...marketing and customer service with little understanding how the WBOS works. Maybe call the dealership and ask to speak to the general manager.
Yeah I was in a similar pickle and didn't want to go without a vehicle when the lease ran out. Instead my daughter drove my challenger for a month because nobody was touching the sport ;) hang in there it will resolve itself. Most dealers will offer lease extension if it's only a couple weeks.
