  1. Stir the 245/65/17 tire pot

I did take note of all the comments regard the weight issues with the ko2. I wonder if that is because those are LT tires and the others like the Toyos are P rated? I have run on wrangler ats before and I just didn't have any luck with durability on those and they were horrible on snow or ice
  2. Stir the 245/65/17 tire pot

Ironman does make good tires. These are the ones I wish they made in 245/65/17 https://www.ironmantires.com/tire-details/Ironman/All-Country-AT Closest size is 245/70/17. Those do look nice on your ride though. I wonder how they will do in snow and ice.
  3. Stir the 245/65/17 tire pot

I thing we are getting a bit stuck in the semantics here. My first jeep I ran 30/9.50s with an open rear diff and I had to work to get it stuck. I never put it in low gear so I didn't miss anything even if it didn't have it. I took that thing everywhere: Hollister, Pismo, Mammoth. Does the lack...

Dang, I thought I loved the alto blue I got but that Oxford white looks nice with the black roof.
  8. BFG KO2 (or Falken WildPeaks) without lift on Badlands, 235/65/17 or 245/65/17 ??

Could I get an update on how this size is doing for you? I want to buy a brand that I trust, but this is one of the few 17 rim sizes offered. I do need full articulation of the wheel due to deep ruts on some of the trails I go to and i can't afford to get tire size wrong
  9. Tire Comparison

I had ironman all country a/t on my 2018 expedition and they were great in snow and you ice, not to mention off road. They aren't tri-peaked, but my wife was able to crawl past cars that had slid off the road in icy conditions and was waived on by chp on the way to big bear after road closures
