Beware of dealers showing vehicles in stock. Remember that a green window sticker is a customer order and not for sale. Only vehicles with blue window stickers are dealer stock.

According to Ford, all customer orders will be prioritized over dealer stock orders regardless of model. It doesn't matter when you place your order, it will go to the top of the list before dealer orders. The only ones you will be competing against are fellow customer orders.
Don't expect the B&P to up by 8/30. I'm ordering a Badlands on 8/30, so I will get the changes to the 2022 model year from the dealer. The 2022 Explorer oder banks opened on 7/30 and still no B&P. However you can see the order guide before the B&P will ever show up. Check here...
I'm a retired Ford Engineer and I remember in the late 90's Ford had an initiative to build and deliver a vehicle to a customer in 2 weeks. They called it OTD (Order to delivery). Obviously, it never happened, so this is not a new idea. Here is what they were trying to do:
Order to Delivery...
The dates are in a previous tread. These dates are still good for now. https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/2022my-bronco-sport-dates-order-acceptance-scheduling-and-production-start.3120/
Go to the Ford website and look at the inventory there. It will show what dealer has what and you can look at the window stickers there. If the dealer doesn't have the window sticker, then they probably don't have the vehicle. Common dealer ploy. Showing vehicles on their website with no photos...
If the vehicles are on their website, then there should be window stickers on them. Look at the window sticker and if it is blue, then it it dealer stock. If it is green, then it is a customer order.
From my experience, don't expect B&P before the order date. The vehicle should be carryover with the possibility of a couple new colors. The dealers should have that info on or before 8/30. The only problem with that is that you may not be able to see a new color before ordering. Hopfully we...
I just reserved a Badlands today online. Final orders for 2021 were 7/2, so this should be a 2022. Intial order acceptance is 8/30 with job #1 on 11/1. I'm sure I will here from my dealer soon. The Ford website didn't ask for a deposit. If they cancel the Badlands, there won't be a BS in my...
Could be worse. My dog chewed through my seat belts in my Flex. I even had to replace one completely including the mechanism. You can see that I have some still wrapped. He doesn't chew them anymore. When you have a dog, whatever the dog rides in becomes a dog car.
Personally, I wouldn’t take it. I would tell them to re-order. I don’t want a new car that has been repaired, regardless of how minor it might be. Also, you better make sure that this repair doesn’t get reported and ends up on Carfax as a reported accident.
