The dealer I ordered mine through has anywhere from 10-15 on the lot, one BL the rest are BB or OB. In checking their window stickers, they are all but one from the chip hold batches at the end of last year.
Right there with you. I laugh when the rest of the country gets all spun up on anything over $4. We've been living that for the past 3 years. Average in San Diego is well over $6 and creeping toward $7, just insane.
Woosa.....Woosa.....Goosfraba.....
Good luck. I got my May production email the first week in March for my late December order. It’s worse than playing the odds in Vegas on whether you’ll get a production date.

Could try something like this for the lower driver's door panel to help with marks from big feet. There are some clear options on Amazon as well. Meant for the sill but I'm sure it would work on the inside panel.

I just got this email from Ford. Funny thing is, I never ordered a 2022 Maverick. Another blunder in the system at Ford. OR.....and this is a stretch, but plausible....The dealer I placed my BSBL order at used my information (DL ID and signature from BSBL order), to make a bogus order for their...
I wish Ford would give custom orders the option to delay your build until the vehicle can be built 100% as advertised. I understand that many “need” their vehicle because their current one is dying, I get it. If I could, I would gladly give up my build slot to someone that needs this car.

I bought a BL purely for the extra HP and resale/trade-in value down the road. I'll never use it to its full potential but like having the option if I want to get adventurous.
Agreed, I’d rather be informed with what “IOUs” mine is showing up with, rather than getting the cold shoulder. If this all turns out not as planned, the dealer will be gaining a car to sell.
Definitely good questions to which no one knows how Ford knows or cares about those with less than advertised units. Let's say the 2023 model is made as intended, with no shortcuts. Do the 2022s just become a one-off odd year that no one will want years down the road at resale? Future Buyer- “Oh...
My BL is slotted to be built in the first week of May. I’m curious what legal storm Ford would be in, from those with altered or missing parts, if it shows up built like it was intended, i.e. engine cover, folding headrests, digital screen temp dials, etc.
Out of curiosity, a while back I placed myself on a call list at my local Mazda dealer for the CX-50. Today I got a call saying a factory rep is bringing one in for a demo on March 22nd. I plan on going and will report back my in-person experience for any that are interested. Lots of pictures...
I placed my order 12/21/21 on a fully loaded BL and got my production email last week for May. Have you reached out to your dealer to check if your order priority code has changed since you ordered?
Mine is slotted to be built in May. I'm hoping that being in San Diego will make my built-to-delivered time frame much shorter than most. Time will tell.
I keep reading through the various (“issues, noises, problems, etc.”) threads and have to ask because I haven't owned a Ford since high school (22 years ago). Is this par for the course, a bad batch, QA part issues from COVID, or poor manufacturing overall?
I've always owned foreign-made cars...
