I notice something like you are describing sometimes on especially cold or especially hot days when I first start a ride. I figure it is the windshield and dash making temperature adjustments. It typically stops after a little while.
If it is everyone’s responsibility, it is no one’s responsibility.
If the boss doesn’t care about it there is little personal benefit to anyone below them caring about it.
Whew, I love my Bronco but I would be tempted to sell it and buy a comparable European used car there that can be more easily serviced anywhere I may decide to travel around to while there. But if you can invest in and store parts you may or may not need . . . A windshield? Headlight(s)? A third...
A quick and dirty set of crossbars for the occasional Lowe's or Home Depot lumber run. (1) 10ft 2x4 required and some time in the shop. Easy to mount, no mounting tools required, easy to store. The strap goes under the rails to hold the "bars" down. The outside holes in the bars are set for 4x8...
@Jmuns download for the win! But ironically the Ford download site seems to also be working again which I did not find out until after I was done and went to report the update to Ford. Now on to the Nav update . . . (which I have downloaded from Ford since they are up and running again)
I do see why you think that but no, the bronco is just fine where it is. The angle is perfect and believe me, it never quite feels balanced with the oval once you make “perfection” the goal. Take that Kelly off and pat yourself on the back.
Flip a coin. In my mind the forum seems to have very firmly established that there are SO many variables effecting the life of the batteries (EFB or AGM) that it is not worth the time or trouble to obsess on it beyond buying a high quality battery from a reputable manufacturer. Because I am in...
Thanks for asking, @Jmuns sent me a copy that may do the trick. Just catching up on things after a Holiday Vacation to the threshold of hell. Downloaded it tonight and hope to try the update tomorrow.
Yeah, who knows. Maybe a slightly different download is needed for a 23 OBX. Do appreciate everyone here trying to a help out. Maybe the Ford upload site will get back online for the new year! (Maybe Ford should come here for help!)
@Dude thanks for your detective work! I’m away from home (in my Sport) for the holidays and will wait until I am at home base in the new year before attempting to work on this again. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Yeah, thought I did, twice. Will erase the USB. Reformat it again and start from scratch. I’m using the download zip file shared by @cprcubed since Ford’s site is experiencing technical difficulties with the download site and it is not available there.
Yes, correctly 3 “items”, 1 folder, 2 files. I will get some screenshots tonight to provide more clarity about what I did. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
