  1. Replaced worn out Falkens with Toyo Open Country A/T III

I was wondering the same thing. Next time I get tire work done, I'll ask my guy to hook it up to the Forscan and see if it shows what tire it's set for.
  2. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

I can imagine the outrage of younger people seeing a child in the back of a car, even if it's parked, and reminisce to the days of our station wagon growing up with a rear seat facing out the back window and no seatbelts as my dad drove hours on the highway for vacations. I wouldn't trade...
  3. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

It's a great mystery; everyone in my dept makes fun of it. I'm not sure if it's the hybrid components not being tuned for a pursuit vehicle, and I probably just made that up like it could be a real thing, I'm too dumb to be a mechanic :). We should only have these for a few years. The kids on...
  4. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

Can confirm. I have no issues passing vehicles on the highway or merging into high-speed traffic safely. None.
  5. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

I went to an eCVT in my 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid, and it took me a while to wrap my head around not feeling the vehicle shifting and that this was normal. I drove it for 5 years, and now I'm getting used to my BB and feeling the shift points again. If the Fusion wasn't so awful in the winters I'd...
  6. Replaced worn out Falkens with Toyo Open Country A/T III

One thing I noticed about going from 225/65R17 to 235's is......my GPS and speedometer actually match. With the OEM tires, when the speedometer said 70, the GPS would show 72. With the 235, when the speedometer says 70, so does the GPS. I found it interesting, because I for sure thought the...
  7. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Yeah, I had 70000 Ford points, so I did some shopping with them. I normally don't use the site.
  8. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Nice, I bought the OEM strips for the sills, and they aren't very protective. The rear ones are really short, and the front ones are narrow. They do look nice, though.
  9. 91 octane or 87, 2025 BS BL

Thanks for the explanation! The Mobil that I use is indeed Top Tier according to logos on their pumps.
  10. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

I did a ceramic coating on mine on 9/5, and it hasn't rained since. I haven't even had to wash my Bronco since, and it almost looks like I have. We get a ton of salt up here in NY in the winter, so I'm hoping that helps a bit by rinsing the car down during the winter.
  11. 91 octane or 87, 2025 BS BL

I suspect for my use, not really towing or anything I should probably stick with 87 and maybe every 5th tank fill it with 93 to clean it up a bit. I might be wrong, I'm still learning about this, so if there is no benefit using the 93 as far as helping keep crap out, then let me know, I'll save...
  12. 91 octane or 87, 2025 BS BL

I wish I were closer to the national average. It was 1.30 per gallon more for 93 vs 87 a few days ago when I filled up.
  13. Replaced worn out Falkens with Toyo Open Country A/T III

I found some Toyo A/T III's for 208 each so went with them. I'm really surprised how smooth they are on the highway. I don't see any difference in noise or vibration on the highway vs the Continental Procontact XT, I can feel it a bit at lower speeds on paved roads, sub 20 MPH or so, but...
  14. My 2024 Big Bend Bronco Sport

    That's one handsome Bronco.
  15. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

I have a 2025 model with a 1.5L engine. Coming from a 2020 Fusion Hybrid, I feel like I'm in a racecar. I'm also pushing 60 years old, and my days of thunder are long behind me :).
  16. 91 octane or 87, 2025 BS BL

I filled my Bronco up for the first time since I bought it. I only have about 500 miles on it so far, and the options at my gas station of choice are 87, 89, or 93. I figured I'd put the 93 in it for kicks. The price difference was pretty shocking lol. It's 3.15 in NY for 87, and I probably...
  17. What was your first car/truck/bike?

My first car was a '77 Pontiac Astre that my uncle gave to me in 1988. The rear floor was rusted out, and you could see the ground. I got a decent year out of it, but it was free and a rough ride.
  18. 2025 MY Bronco Sport Goodyear Tires

I'd honestly prefer the AT4W, I'm not too concerned with the added cost, my only issue is with the 1.5L Ecoboost in my BB I'm not sure how the heavier tires will be for gas mileage, etc. I don't have one of the nicer trims that most here do.
  19. 2025 MY Bronco Sport Goodyear Tires

Sounds the same as the TR card. The downside is, there are no DT stores in NYS, so I'd need to have them shipped and my guy put the tires on, which would be an added cost, I'd assume.
