Iām using a wireless CarPlay adaptor with my ā23 Big Bend, and my girlfriends ā17 Malibu, and they work perfectly, with all apps. The adaptors are cheap now, too.
I ordered a sliding cover for the trunk area from Amazon that says it is specifically for the Bronco Sport, and Iām impressed. Fits and covers great!
Iāve tried two cheap wireless CarPlay adapters that got good reviews, and both worked great on the Bronco Sport. I moved one to my F-150 and another to my girlfriendās Malibu. Still work perfectly. I bought another for my Bronco. ~$50 each.

Also, I used the OBDII port for power. The adaptor has two USB ports, and will let you select how long you want the power feed to the cameraās battery.
