Totally can relate to the craziness of a rattle!!! I had one in the same general area that drove me nuts for about 3 weeks. I looked at everything I could without taking the car apart. I looked for loose things in the pocket door, the glove box, port areas. I couldn't figure it out. I was nearly...
I thought the same thing, but I tested the theory just now in the BS and it worked. I didn't have any problems with the belt, but then I don't pull it completely out to snap in.
And, if you think about it, there's many times I'll use the front passenger seatbelt to secure other things that don't...
LOL!!! I just found the answer!
It seems it's a safety feature for child/baby seats. Once you pull the seat belt fully out, it engages the lock feature to keep seats firmly put. Totally makes sense! But what's really funny is the hub-a-dub is a large man and always pulls the seat belt all the...
Howdy y'all !!!
I have looked and looked (probably not searching correctly) but I can't find anything about issues with the seat belt retractor.
The hub-a-dub was riding shotgun yesterday and the seat belt would not give. You could pull it out and connect, but it would lock up immediately and...
I live in rural TN. In fact, the road I live on is a one-lane blacktop (in my book that's a physical oxy-moron). My gravel driveway is a quarter mile long off the one-lane. I never go over 19 MPH on either. Although I love the auto-dim/bright feature, I really, really need it when navigating...
I couldn't wait to get rid of my Subaru. Quirky is an understatement. I've had HB for nearly 2 years now and haven't had any of the issues I had with my Forester of the same age.
I really enjoyed your post.
I always thought "Sport" was just a quicker way to say Bronco Junior. But after having mine now for nearly 2 years, to me, Sport is closer to sporting around which it does perfectly, or sporting a great look. Again, a perfect analogy.
But, I worked in the movie...
You make excellent points. However, the idiot lights and 'alerts' drive me nuts. I'm constantly yelling, "My hands ARE on the wheel!" Geesh! LOL! Nothing like having a car that backseat drives!!
In theory, I don't think you'd have to rotate tires on any vehicle if the alignment and balance...
Since HB only has 10K on him, I've only had the oil change/tire rotation done twice. The first time, I sat and watched them do it. The second time, HB was never in the 'tire' section of the garage. With that said, I wasn't going to be "that gal" who questioned the service I didn't 'see' them do...
Wow!! I didn't have all that happen, but I HATED that stupid low tire pressure idiot light! There were other things my Forrester disappointed me about and the main reason I now have HB. I read somewhere on the Subaru forum, if you want good electronics, go to Best Buy.
I can't imagine being...
