Logistics may have improved since I got mine. But Mine took about a month from the email saying it was shipped to delivery in my hands. This back in July-August.
Are you trying to get an extended warranty direct through ford? There are many 3rd party companies out there that deal exclusively in extended car warranties, that you could most likely go through.
Though I would only contact them directly via phone if they have a legit website that looks...
I paid 3-4k under sticker price with no trade in. I was quite happy with Ford Price Protection. ? Just had to wait 7+ months for it though. Surprised that the cost of the car went up 3-4k depending on options in just 7+ months.
I have this issue too, but only started noticing this issue when I turned on my Daytime Running Lights again. I usually drive with em off, but ever since I turned it back on, I notice that dim running lights still on after I lock the car. Quick fix is to just unlock and lock the car for me, but...
I personally never had this option on. Mainly in fear of the volume increasing drastically because I am trying to go 0-60 in like 3 seconds, and already pumping the music loud..... ?
Unlikely as that would most likely be a different design, for the turbo of the 2.0 engine and the studs are screwed in and various clips clip into various spots in very specific spots to keep the cover in place.
I noticed this issue happening alot more when I have the daytime running lights toggled on. When toggled off I've never had this issue. I also just unlock the car and lock it again with the key fob to immediately turn it off. I got into the habit of looking at them before I lock the car to make...
I posted a screenshot of all the listed items that could cause auto start stop to stop working. See HERE . Hope this clarifies a few things for ya.
This is quite a few things that have to be met before Auto Start Stop will function as it should. If any one of these is not met, it is disabled...
My assumption is that one or more of the conditions is not met and is not activating like normal.
I would assume as the season turns colder and colder into winter for me, my Auto Start Stop will not turn on as much depending on temps.
I got the one from Ford. Uses double sided stick. Seems fine, though long term I'm sure it could degrade and eventually fall off if sitting out in the various seasons for years. Though I wouldn't classify it as a bug deflector. More of a hood protector.
It might. I have a lot of rattling that comes from that area, and was hoping that having this part installed would help dampen the rattling I hear from this area.
However good luck trying to get this warrantied, as I'm literally getting the run around with Ford and my Dealership on this part...
Perhaps the Auto Start Stop failed and it defaulted to park? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause a drastic change while sitting at a stop light.
