I am thinking the cargo space is similar to an old gen (boxy) Escape cargo space, judging by how similar the exterior dimensions are. I saw a post on an (old/boxy)Escape forum where a guy who was 6' said he can sleep in the cargo area... So there's some hope for you. If you remove the headrests...

Looks like there's 1 country that's worse than the US. (2018 data) - checked a few other sources for per capita amounts and they're all pretty much the same: Either US is 2nd place on on top Different source: (2020)

yeah, this is definitely a big-ish tent: 9x9x7 feet. Would def require a good amount of space behind the vehicle to set up. Most of our trips are shorter trips or day trips and IF it's a longish trip we're likely to be in a park / area where they have bigger parking areas.. so Hopefully this...
  4. Overlanding People

This is an interesting thought; I do like a LOT of the stuff in BL pkg, except the moonroof. I think I might have to compromise and go with one of those tents that attaches to the butt of the Sport, instead of rooftop. That way I get to keep the heated steering wheel and the reverse sensors and...
  5. Official ALTO BLUE Bronco Sport Thread

Confirms this as my fav color. Thanks for the pics. Too bad it's an extra cost color; hoping that will change in 2022

I saw it mentioned somewhere that the seats do fold flat with weight on them, and some of the pics/videos I have seen did seem like the area was flat... just can't remember which pics/videos they were.... I usually remove head rests from the rear seat in my 2010 Escape anyway and would do the...
  7. Official ICONIC SILVER Bronco Sport Thread

I REALLY like that little arrangement... except: the mounting points are in the same slots where the front tow hooks are/would be - so looks like you have to remove the front tow hooks to have that specific setup. But I am sure there will be other setups available with bumper/underbody mount...

Man those foglights ARE really tiny / just for looks, aren't they? Wish they were a little bit beefier... :(
  9. Motor Trend - Initial Review

I guess the default setting/default driving mode is something like intelligent AWD in the current and 2005-2012 Escapes? Unless you have 4x4 lock or a drive mode selected with the GOAT dial, it's probably just FWD and switches to AWD if rear wheel spin is detected by the system, and then...
  10. Official CACTUS GRAY Bronco Sport Thread

Wow - i guess I never realized how much wider/ "fatter" it gets right below the window/glass area when looking from behind. Looks beefy!
  11. Universal Garage Door Opener

I personally do not expect the B-sport to be a substitute to or mimic the CURRENT Escape. The few luxury / convenience items it has I take as a bonus. It is meant to be a more capable SECOND GEN (boxy) escape; almost a revamped re-incarnation of it with more modern tech and off road prowess. The...
  12. FIRST EDITION Thread

Ah - I see what you mean; sorry I kind of missed the emphasis on FE availability. That IS weird.
  13. FIRST EDITION Thread

The description the the e-source does mention *intelligent" ACC
  14. Universal Garage Door Opener

I highly doubt HomeLink type GDOs are obsolete. Mercedes, BMW, Mazda and Volvo etc, which have the latest tech, also have HomeLink type GDOs.
  15. Universal Garage Door Opener

I think at this point we can be pretty certain that a UGDO is simply not available. (IDK how hard it is of a job to retrofit a sunvisor from a 2nd gen Escape that has a UGDO integrated onto a B-Sport (my 2010 Escape has it built in to the driver's sun visor)... there should be some power/wiring...
  16. Universal Garage Door Opener

I searched the 85 page Bronco Sport "e-Source book" PDF for keywords "universal", "garage" and "home link" and even "door" and "opener" - nothing came up

    It's true: https://broncooffroadeo.com/#/
  18. Universal Garage Door Opener

So.... can this be confirmed now? The Sport does NOT come with a UGDO? If true, find it so weird, for a car that can get a heated steering wheel and remote start not to have this simple gadget.
  19. Official CACTUS GRAY Bronco Sport Thread

Ooh the fake steelies are a lot darker than I thought... but the car IS in shadows...
  20. Wheel and Tire plans?

Does anyone know the WIDTH of the BL 17" wheel? (I am assuming both styles have same width)
