I just removed mine. Used a piece of dental floss and a hair dryer. Then a little Goofoff to remove the glue residue. I like it so much better!!! This picture is from yesterday camping in Nevada.

I live in Utah and I approve the closures. It's about time. There are more than enough places to off-road without ruining every inch of land in that area. Some of these places have had significant damage and should be protected.

Totally agree with you. I know this is a controversial subject but too many people solely rely on these "safety" features. Especially older one's. You should know how to drive without the car telling you what you can and can't do.

I spend A LOT of time out in the desert and the most concerning thing about it is if something happened how the hell am I going to get it out of my car there. I wish they would make these less complicated!!

I should have done better research before I bought this I admit. I've had that car for 19 year's. I keep them until they die. However I do realize vehicles these days aren't made to last. At least American made ones. We'll see how long this one goes for.

I have always carried a battery pack but with this car I'm glad I do. You can shut your interior lights off. It's just below your rear view mirror. The lights won't go on when you open a door but you will have to hear everything else. I really love my car but I hate the electronic stuff.

I absolutely love mine but darn I'm camping all the time and I have to say it's crazy annoying how much this car hums and clicks. I'm always in remote places so it's dead quiet. Every single time I open or close a door it goes on for about 5 to 10 minutes humming away. I have my interior lights...
