Hereās what I hope is an adequate sound capture of the Magna Flow exhaust I had installed the other day. Since I was alone in the garage I couldnāt pop the throttle. Sorry. ?
Removed those strange little āair damā thingies in front of my rear tires.
Refilled the holes with some trim plugs from a kit I purchased on Amazon.
As for the front ones? I left those in place. I kinda like the air dam look they give from the front. ?
Iāve always subscribed to the theory that everything works fine right up until the moment it breaks. And if something is designed to work say, a million times before it doesnāt work anymore, the more often you use it, the quicker youāre going to get to those million times. Iāve been driving a...
Wow. No Chicagoland posts to this thread since July of ā23?!?
Was hoping to read more. Has everyone moved their postings somewhere else?
Anyway
Hello from the Aurora area.
Hoping to get hooked up with
Broncopalooza 2024!
My semi recently departed ā71 Mach 1ā¦
And my ā12 F150, which left a week ago today. They both now reside with an old buddy in the desert southwest.
Leaving us with just these couple of horses tucked in the barn.
Thought Iād include a shot of Frostys namesake, sometime before the swap for the...
Iāve recently come up with a foolproof way to eliminate the noise when first backing out of the garage for the day.
I simply back the truck into the garage at the end of the day, so I can just pull out the next morning. No backing up, no noise, no problem. I know what youāre thinking; What a...
When our daughter got her nursing degree, the first job she took was in snowy Galena, Illinois. Worked out well, cuz she could live at our lake house & commute the 20 miles to her job. Only problem was the lake property roads could become a little much for her Mustang during the āright around...
Looking good. I prefer black on the Bronco, but chrome is always a great look, too. And youāre absolutely correct. Ford really shouldānt have left us hanging without some stylish exhaust tips. ?

Frosty got an axel back exhaust today. Iāll admit, was a little skeptical about what a 1.5L would sound like through a Magna Flow, but I am indeed pleased. Nice throaty burble. Not raspy at all. And the two black tips are something Ford shouldāve absolutely done in some way shape or form. ?
Since my scoop was installed by a professional detail & trim shop, I have a little more confidence in the installation than if my local Ford dealer (sorry Ford) had installed it. Been there a couple of years now, so I think Iāll continue to risk it.
Hello. Found the Forum while cruisinā the interweb the other day & joined up. Happy to be here. Already have picked up some very useful info. We have a ā21 BS OBX that we call Frosty. Long story to how he ended up with that name, but suffice it to say for now it started with a 2011 Escape we...
