In every instance I said, "What exactly is that supposed to mean?" I got a lot of umms, "no offense"... and I ended with..."grow up!" And an evil eye ?
I went back and forth between the OB and BL too. I typically go for the top of the model choices.
I'm not going off-roading but I did want the bigger engine. This may sound silly but I could not accept the ugly 17 inch rims on the BL so I went with the OB. Since I'm leasing the BS, I wasn't...
I never understood the "wave". LIke, so what you have the same Jeep. But I think I get it now... especially our collective challenges in even getting the damn BSs! I'm open to it...like the finger guns idea. Lol ?
Thanks everyone for your comments on this topic! I was offended by the "that's a chick car" comments. While I don't care what anyone else thinks about my vehicle choices, it just really hit a nerve with me.
It's nice to have a BS "family" that is supportive and helpful!
After enthusiastically talking about my Bronco Sport (and pending delivery), I was told (multiple times), that it's a "chick" car. ?
I'm a "chick" and I take offense to that! Rude.
I ordered area 51 and wanted to change to cactus grey. But, I was a little late as I went back and forth for weeks. I asked to change the color but my OB was already in production and was told it was too late for changes. It was actually built that same day! ?
I haven't even drove a Bronco Sport yet- there were none in my area so why would I put down a deposit on a vehicle, I haven't seen- let alone sit in and drive? It's the dealerships who are changing standard protocols. Knowing directly from the salesperson that it is not how the dealership...
My dealership didn't require either of those. I have a long standing relationship with both the dealership and salesperson. I'm wondering if that is the difference?
That's ridiculous to require a deposit. Bronco Sports are in such high demand that if you didn't want the custom order, many other people will. The dealership isn't going to lose anything. My sales guy even told me that! That's just not very professional.
Did anyone else see the new Notice that pops up now on the Ford tracker site? For those of us with built BS orders, we should count ourselves lucky. This might be getting worse instead of better!
