Top latches easier to break than you might think - from experience ! Be sure to pull bottom out first. When you reinstall be careful wires are not caught in lower latch. A number of posts a few months ago on this by people installing accessories. Definitely room for improvement here Mr. Ford.

If I am reading this correctly it was the connector going into the ECU - correct ? Did they also look at the wiring harness connector located behind the tow hook to see if water had penetrated that connector ? Interesting that they want to replace the engine harness as well.

I've noticed a strong reflection of the back edge of the drivers side hood "bump out" at certain sun angles. Not in my eyes, but definitely distracting. My plan is to put a small matte vinyl on that back edge as it slopes down to windshield.

Good find. I got the $14 version on Amazon and it fits fine in Sport Badlands. Just hangs on edge and top closes nicely. Each supplier has a slightly different layout/color, but the 2020/2021 escape console is the correct fit .
