I think you giving Ford too much credit there. :) I won't deny it, your theory resonates with me though. I'd say that whatever chaotic build process Ford had ended up with and whoever came up with that is congratulating him or her self saying "we got 'em now".
Now, yeah, good luck for sure. I think you're mistaken on "out of spite" there though. I suspect it's more often than not is very much out of necessity. At least it was in my case.
Looks good!
Wondering now... dealer wasn't entirely sure about it when placing my Borderlands + Borderlands package order. Do you or anybody else know if floor liners item is basically what you got there? Part of my window sticker is attached for the reference. Thanks.
That's for headlights and fog lights only, right? In my case the most prone to damage areas are top of the hood and side mirrors. I don't think I have the patience to install all that. Lights seem like a lot more manageable job. Looks great.
I was thinking today that with chip shortage and manufacturers reportedly prioritizing orders to maximize the profitability (can't blame them for that), I wonder how much one's order make up plays into build times? Perhaps orders with the most features/packages get a green light for chip...
That's how it played out for me too. Almost pulled a plug on it but at the end of the day I wanted those extra features. I wouldn't lie there is certain allure to owning FE though.
Keep in mind I'm not a car guy... would you need to do that to the entire bumper or just to the scratched up area? Asking from the stand point of blending in whatever you plan on applying next.
