That’s funny. I got the same Ecosport message from my dealer back in July. I didn’t think too much about it at the time. Just figured they weren’t too organized. I met with them in person later to place my order for the BS.
Here we are trying to glean patterns from all of the order data provided. Ford must be laughing at us for wanting to figure out the methods to their madness. ?
My first thought when seeing this storm interceptor vehicle was that the added running boards/steps must cut into the ground clearance which is very important to you. Would they stay?
It looks like the Badlands Equipment Group is still listing 235/65R17 All Terrain Off-road tire as included when we know that that tire size is an extra cost option. It would be nice if it was standard. Why are these discrepancies not caught by Ford?
Great looking weather there in the desert. Seems kinda odd though that part of this operation is outdoors. Maybe we don’t want to know too much about their assembly process. We do have a 2012 Fusion that was built in that factory and it has been trouble free. Will be trading it for the BS when...
I know the bash plates are made to take the impact, but it was still painful to hear it in the video. What are they made out of? Can we expect them to rust after getting scratched and dented?
Agreed. But when comparing the mpg results of the 3000 mile trial in the screen shot to the official estimates, these numbers are hopefully conservative.
If those numbers are accurate, it’s a little disappointing, but not too surprising. The larger, heavier Edge has better ratings with the 2.0L and 8 speed auto. We shall see how the US figures compare soon.
