I really do think that the hold up for most of the delays is the moonroof. I have relunctant to post so as not jinks myself but I ordered BB +BB w/o moonroof, tow package, 360+, cms. I got a build date of 5/10 and so far I haven't gotten a delay.

The only 2 vehicles they are adding it to have Sync4 and more cameras/sensors so I doubt this will be an upgrade but maybe there is stuf we don't know about that they added so it can be switched on. I read that to use bluecruise you need to pay a $600 subscription fee.

Which tires/wheels do you have since that would effect the height to the ECU?

I'm thinking this is why they did the last minute packages without moonroof's. That lists all of the trim level packages with moonroofs but none of the ones without. 96B - Big Bend and 96D - Outer Banks. I am thinking these moonroofs are causing a huge issue.

I am wondering if the big delays this time around are moonroof related. It seems everyone posting that they got delays have the trim level package that goes with their trim level. So one common thing is the moonroof.

I forgot to update you I asked my dealer for my VIN and received it on 4/12. I am not sure when they initially assigned it. Also to confirm, my build date is May 10 not March 10.

The NVH is typical of Subaru's. That's one of the biggest downsides to the horizontal boxer engine. They've done a good job minimizing it but you can't ever fully get around physics. The hesitation is 100% the CVT. That's been my biggest complaint over the years of driving mine.

I walked away from my 7/14 order because my first dealer did the same thing. Offered 400 on the trade and when we said we’d walk he said he could easier sell it to someone else so we walked and sold the old car to Carmax for 2000 and ordered another one from another dealer.

Walnuts dented the hood of my Impreza. No one believed me. The shop swore I had have gotten hit by large hailstones.

I currently drive a ‘13 Subaru Impreza though it’s technically replacing my wife’s ‘08 Hyundai Sonata. Either way I’m new to Ford. I will be driving it and my wife is getting the Impreza.
