I will add the chorus of people calling BS on the color being the problem. I ordered a big bend with Area 51 and it’s being built the week of 12/4. I think they are just grasping at straws because no one knows how they are determining the production order.
This is random question that I know no one has the answer to unless they’ve seen one of the new production Bronco Sports but will the dial actually say G.O.A.T modes or drive modes? I know the rest of the Ford models use drive modes and have similar modes and all of the preproduction BS’s have...
Looking at the bronco sport inventory section of Ford's site seems like a lot of dealers have stock ones on the way right now. I thought only mannequins were coming first but the site showing pricing seems to indicate that they are for sale. @Granger Ford can you confirm?
From another group of mine I saw a few big bends scheduled for the last week of November but the only thing I saw that made theirs different was I did not order the tow package and they did. My guess is it's a combo of factors including trim level, options, when ordered and where they are...
That was the order email I got. I actually ordered a Big Bend in Area 51. If I go to the reservation page it says Big Bend but the image is still a base in iconic silver. So really the only way to know your order to see the order sheet from your dealer.
I changed the trim level and the color. My order email still showed the base trim and color. I checked with my dealer and they confirmed that they ordered what I asked for and a few days later the Ford reseveration site updated to state the correct trim. The image on the reservation site is...
I reserved on 7/14 and ordered it on 7/22. I have seen people who ordered their big bend after me get dates in November. The only consistent thing I saw on those is they ordered the tow package and I did not.
Consumer Reports released their updated driving assistance systems ratings and Ford's Co-Pilot 360 ranked 3rd overall behind Cadillac (the best overall) and Tesla. Under capabilities and performance they put Ford tied for 2nd behind Tesla and tied with Audi and Cadillac. Considering the luxury...
My dealer hasn't contacted me with a VIN but Ford emailed me with a build date on my Big Bend for the week of 12/14. I have seen in another group several people getting Big Bends built in November.
I confirmed with my dealer who shows one coming on ford’s site that they have a mannequin on the way that’s similar to my build. They said once it’s in I can stop by and test it out.
Do you know if VIN numbers have been assigned to people who got a build date (week) email or was that just the system organizing line changeovers? I got a build date but my dealer hasn’t said anything about a VIN yet.
The $220 is just for the crossbars. It does not include how they clamp to roof rack. The ford installed version is probably closer to the TimberLine system that starts at $354. I was thinking the same as you so I did more digging.
For my local dealer the ford site says just delivered but the dealer's site says in transit. I don't thank that production starts until next week so I would assume that it still needs to be built and shipped.
