Thanks for the link. I don't mind the prop rod but I may do this in the future. It looks like a nice and very simple kit. Of course neither work as well as good ole standard springs but I don't think anyone is gonna make those for the aftermarket.

WOW!!!! Very impressive!!! I've always wanted a train horn. Years ago I tried the typical cheap "auto parts store air horn" in a Lincoln Mark V and it was rather anemic so I never bothered with it again. It sounds like you got the real thing!!

I agree. I think slippery mode may give some added assurance but Normal Mode will get you where you want just as easily. Or like Goatsybanks said using Eco Mode could be a benefit with the lighter acceleration. I haven't tried that yet but I will in the next snow storm.

I know it's not ideal. I wouldn't be recording by hand on an open road and a phone holder definitely makes for a steadier picture.

I got to pay extra for the Falkens that are practically the same price as the Pirellis. I didn't get a choice because that's how the car came off the lot but if given the choice I'd get the Falkens anyway.

I was a little unsure about what I thought of the dial shifter but my fondness for the vehicle outweighs any negative thoughts on the shifter. I told myself to just get used to it. The car itself kicks butt!

I think I was in Normal Mode here. I did try Slippery and Sand also. Sand was too rev happy for the snow. Also tried TC on and off. TC on worked so well that I opted for that, of course, TC off is great for screwing around.

Nope, that's in Harold Parker State Forest in Andover and North Andover, Ma. The road has been blocked for at least 40 years because neither of the two towns wanted to patrol the road so they just gated it off to the public. It's usually only opened up for emergencies. Wow! some people are doing great! I can barely get 18mpg but that's because my daily commute is only 4 miles and involves 8 traffic lights. Plus it's hard to stay off the gas pedal when it's so much fun.
