2021 Sport.
It's disappointing that there is dust on the inside of the instrument cluster after only 3 years.
Clearly not a great seal, and I don't even do any offroading. :frown:
Was the hose cracked, or the sprayer?
Which side was bad?
If you had to get a part, what was the part #?
Now that it's warmed up a bit, I'm going to fix mine :like:
See my post on this. My bet is both your passenger and driver's side spray jets are split down the middle from the freeze. If you open your hood, and have someone activate the sprayer from inside the car, I'll bet 99% that it's spraying all over inside your engine compartment.
From my original post :
Turns out the rear pump fuse was blown.
It probably blew when I tried to use the rear wiper and the fluid was still frozen.
The temp had warmed up a bit, but fluid likely still frozen.
So fortunately, that part of the problem is solved.
Yep, this was the bug cleaner crap.
And no, NEVER gonna put the less expensive, bug stuff in again and always use the winter formula.
What a GREAT tip on bug removal, just enough abrasive to knock those bugs off !
Thanks !
I truly wish there were more to this story.
They sell a summer and a winter formula for the washer fluid here in Texas.
Says right on the label +32F.
I bought a few gallons of the summer mix (it was probably less expensive), and had filled the reservior with the last of it by fall.
I didn't even...
Yeah, I get it, the first thing you're gonna say is "Well, you should have changed the washer fluid from the summer formula."
First hard freeze in North Texas.
The design of the washer fluid system should withstand freezing and be flezible.
Crappy design with hard spray nozzles for the front...
I disagree.
I used the MA1 for a very long time.
You cannot upgrade the firmware, bad.
You cannot change the wifi channel, bad.
You cannot change the screen DPI, bat.
AAWireless has worked great for me.
I also use the nightlight. But mine works 100% of the time. You just need to be sure to plug one in that draws enough current, and be sure to tape over any daylight sensor to be sure the nightlight is energized all the time. This is the exact ones I ordered and work 100% of the time, for me...
