@Waiting_In_TX - when was that? most of those demos have been at lots for a few months now (they had to wait 4 months or 4k miles to sell) plus had to sell them with $1,500 of "required" accessories --- roof racks, bars, etc.
Already went down that path with the demo/mannequins -- was going to put a deposit on one but the dealer was marking it up $4k, and almost purchased another that had the required 4k miles on it. This is a 'real' one thankfully.
Checked in with my dealer (about two hrs from me in a small town in SC), they're amazing so far, easy to deal with, updated me within 5 minutes of asking the status. They said it's being built now and they'll update me end of week. We shall see!

End Date - 4/11/2021
Status = In Production
Should I feel good that that date is reasonably accurate?

Best thing I did was walk (and i was royally pissed with them and they knew it) --- chased town 5 other stores within about 500 miles all morning, last one had the EXACT car I wanted being built, to be delivered next month, put a deposit on it and good to go. Guess it was meant to be! But just...
Tried to work on a deal for two different mannequin cars and both are 'required' to sell $1,500 worth of Yakima roof racks. WTH is that garbage. One dealer (horrible, in Shelby, NC) wouldn't take off the $500 incentive, wouldn't honor x-plan, wouldn't remove $500k carpet protection, and after...
