Here’s the ad that came in my feed. He’s not exactly giving it away. But. By the time you import one of these in decent shape from the south purchasing it in USD this is kinda the price you run into. An amount greater than what I’d think...
Ok if we’re talking summer / 2nd vehicle here, this would be my dream, a FB ad that just popped up here. Sadly these go for enough money nowadays that it doesn’t make sense as a 2nd car.
Now if we’re considering a daily driver with enough modern tech & practicality, I did drive this a couple...
I think the key to making it work is being able to home charge. If you can install the charger relatively cheaply the economics are pretty good. Of course being able to have two vehicles helps too when you don’t have to rely on charging away from home. I’m of course one now who thinks a...
The conversion rate is terrible now. Thankfully for our market cars are usually priced less than the exchange rate might indicate. Otherwise they’d be quite unaffordable.
I can’t argue with your logic, in fact that may well be why you don’t see more of them optioned this way. Not everybody sees in them what I do, a vintage 4x4 look. But. Here I’m surprised I don’t have people asking why I run winter tires year round as steelies are most commonly associated...
Honestly I think the BL ”steelies” are some of the most creative wheel designs in a long time. They fit the vehicle well & look suitably premium. A worthwhile upgrade for sure. I’m having a hard time picturing other wheels I like quite so much from the current era that really stand out.
Thanks for the explanation! I didn’t understand as built in nav is important to me since it’s not hard to get somewhere without cell service here rendering just about anything else useless. I’ll live if the built in maps are outdated.
Thanks for such an awesome thread idea to begin with! I did steal it, it’s a great forum off topic discussion.
Oh wow. I’ve never attempted something quite this awesome before!! That looks amazing!
Philips is a great brand. I have yet to have one of these fail on me before their time. The ones that failed were all some generic brand I got with the light fixtures when I put them in a year ago. One of these days I’ll post a morning beverage thread, maybe I should do it tomorrow featuring...
Can’t believe I’m the last person to comment on this thread! Today’s is another raspberry (I’ll fill in with a different one later). This one I haven’t tried before & is more fruit sour than flavored ale. Still it tastes like a 2nd is in order on a fine snowed in Saturday afternoon.
So...
Here it’s difficult to tell if somebody is waving at you using all their fingers or not. Waving with all fingers though is generally reserved for either a thank you or an I’m sorry (following your horn blast at them). While it can be a nice greeting & I could wish more people did it, I...
Thanks! Appreciate the heads up on the update. Glad to have the watch app back again without needing a passcode (something I haven’t bothered with, but now suppose I should check in case there’s pay setup on my watch). iPhone, I did have to go in & manually update the app, it didn’t seem to...
Yep, unmarked cruiser. Set up for speed cam duty. There was concern about speed traps & photo radar used particularly as a cash cow rather than to enhance road safety. So the law here was passed that they have to be used only for road safety (hence the playground & construction zone...
