So this is pretty clear to me, the B&O system ADDS the center channel in the dash (much smaller than the unnecessary size of that grille opening up there), the tweeters in the rear doors (different from those in the corners of the dash), and the sub (shown as absent in that location in the...
Rock rails (sliders) is a factory option on the Bronco; with all that plastic cladding on the Sport, no way. Keep in mind the door -- skin, cladding and all -- extends all the way to the bottom of the rocker on the Sport. So where would you put rock rails? Would you drop them below the bottom...
I think we've heard here the OB also gets a wiper park area de-icer that works when the rear defogger is switched 'on.' The article mentions a 'center differential' I don't think the Sport actually has? IOW I'm thinking the drive shaft to the rear spins all the time, with the computer engaging...
Wow, I rather like the black/dark gray trim contrasts with bright paint, in particular. Thinking for my Oxford White BL plan, I'd like to get black letters on the tailgate and maybe the black plastic door handles, once available in the parts bin. Goes with the rest of the black trim and the...
It's very overcast in the pic, color accuracy probably isn't very high. Love it either way, but am gravitating toward white, it's the only color I can be sure about vs. boy blue, mint green, school bus yellow, same old silver, etc. I like them all actually, but IMHO the lighter and brighter...
I believe those are closer to the DYNAMIC load limits? Even with the moonroof I thought I heard/read the STATIC limit is 600 lbs. -- on the BL/FE anyway?
The Yakima platform, with locking tower mounts, brackets, etc. (lots of accessories for their platform racks) gets very expensive very fast -- but, it's a system that lets you mount the platform directly to the the towers connected to your roof rails -- rather than installing crossbars first...
Packed snow up to the floor pan, I'm not surprised at all. And those tires....street at best. Not going to get Badlands performance (higher lift, off-road suspension, bigger, A/T tires) without upgrades. Even so, the Bronco Sport, Badlands included, is not a Wrangler Rubicon -- it's a decent...
There are specific fueling instructions in The Manual -- for how to insert, fuel, and remove the fuel nozzle! It says if you are lifting up rather than resting it on the filler pipe, the pump can shut off early. It also says, essentially, do not rotate the pump handle more than a few degrees...
FWIW, Ford never claimed that even 1 bike, save 2, would fit without removing the front wheel and using their (Yakima) mount. And then, lots of us are "above-average-sized" so that our big frames (the bikes, that is) might not easily fit as 'projected.' I have a very large hybrid bike, I won't...
Not surprising at all, most mfrs. don't make these options a la carte, they make you buy the package with it. It's not a specific option on any trim, it's either standard (OB or FE) or part of the quite expensive Badlands add-on package (i.e. BL + BL).
Any idea what it means when the tracker can no longer load the vehicle information for the given VIN? My suspicion is that the vehicle has arrived at the dealership...it's also disappeared from the Ford locator, but it still does show up as "available" (this is usually meaningless) on the dealer...
My closest local dealer said it's 4,000 miles or 4 months for this same unobtainable model -- at which future point they were willing to give me $500 off of MSRP for it (a USED car).
I'm 6'3" and "fit" behind myself okay, though I wouldn't be happy there on a long trip sitting behind myself, as it were. It's fine back there for average-sized riders to ride -- nobody's going to be doing yoga back there though, it is a little snug for that.
So sad that all of these know-nothing "reviewers" spout this same tripe over and over and over...video reviewers who actually drive it all love it. Well, one big-guy impression at a TINT SHOP had 2 words for it -- "too small," go figure. Looking at it from the outside, didn't sit in it or drive it.
That sounds very strange to me. I have never read/heard anything about such a "trailering mode," like the 8th hidden, "G.O.A.T" mode just for trailers? NOW IT DOES engage an anti-sway system that uses various vehicle controls "when sway is detected." Could that be what's going on here? Or could...
On the one hand Ford makes it easy to spec with very few actual trims and options -- on the other, they do bundle most of the goodies into the top 2 trims (OB, BL) so that you can't even get at them at all, otherwise. So lots of content, but big $$ prices to get what you want when essentially...
