I'm local to the area as well. A few redneck friends with 45"+ boggers on their lifted trucks, who live in Fredericksburg area, have mentioned Big Levels out towards Staunton. I'll check with some other contacts, there should be options in WV. The DMV area is not well suited for this type of...
I think the system is just a subpar design, pun not intended. After playing with settings and various audio inputs, it just does not thump. My wife had a Forester with Harmon-Kardon and it was levels above better lows than our BS.
You may reach out to Crutchfield and see what, if any solutions...
Depending on your state of residence, you may be able to legally install tint down to the AS1 line. I would place safety above aesthetics and do it tastefully. Match the front driver and passenger side windows to factory and the top portion down to the AS1 line (pending legality).

I'll throw out the suggestion/recommendation to look at Crutchfield. They've been in the car audio/video business for years. They have a lot of expertise and the customer service is stellar.

Thanks for the comments! Hoping it'll help others. I was somewhat nervous about it but at the end of the day it'd work out one way or another. Probably not for the faint of heart DIY'er.
I should clarify. It was the wife that wanted it. She primary driver. Personally, I was ready to accept...
Hi all, I've been lurking for a bit so this is my first post since my wife and I took delivery of our BS OB within the last month. I'm posting this for informational purposes. Moderators please move thread as needed.
The question: Due to supply chain issues experienced in 2021, is there an...
