Yeah so from what we all discussed and came to the conclusion, at least in my post, is that they removed the crossbar to reduce price most likely, the Ford website has a note at the bottom saying every option is subject to change and the same on the window stickers we received when our order...
Not saying it wasn't a rock, saying that the paint shouldn't be chipping down to bare metal if the primer was properly adhered to the body. (Aircraft mechanic, we'd get fired if the paint was chipping off without weather wear and something big taking a chunk out of the material underneath as...
So as many of you saw my post I was one of the first to get my reservation in and my first issue so far has popped up. I was driving along the interstate for a decent (about 4 hours) road trip. Get there and notice a small chunk of paint missing on the front bumper. This is only at around 1200...
It does not come with the crossbar, it apparently got changed to an optional paid accessory. The website has a little caveat at the bottom saying that it's not an official listing of options and that Ford may change them at any time. Apparently the crossbar was one.

If enough of us reach out through the means of social media maybe we can get an answer from them. I have looked the vehicle up and down finding all of the little Easter eggs, but no badge stating anything on the vehicle.
I reached out to ask Ford that on Twitter, they responded to all the complaining about warranties, bad service ect. But I ask a question about being happy to get my vehicle and wondering about a certificate saying it's x number out of 2000 or anything and they didn't respond :(
Well I've definitely been driving it to have fun with it lately and I'm at 22mpg. Also living in San Diego most of my driving is stop and go so I think it could be a lot better.
Off roading not a lot, I'll be taking it up camping with me in Northern Arizona and Northern California. So it'll go on some rough dirt roads but not gonna be crazy rock crawling.
Thanks for pointing that out might need to have a conversation with my dealership as well. Also I know some people were asking what happened to the cargo area shelf. It's add on that can be installed post production or added before.
