My decision to get a BL+BL was based around my decision not to follow through with my planned purchase of a full sized Bronco Badlands. After months of thoroughly being convinced that I was gonna buy that Bronco, I had a moment when I was honest with myself about what I needed vs what I wanted...
Make sure that your Yakima crossbars have the rubber strip installed along the bottom. Before I drove my BS home from the dealership, my salesman installed my crossbars. He accidentally left off the rubber strip I referred to, thinking that it wasn't necessary. The drive home was extremely...
You have to call the railroad in question and use their automated phone system:
Union Pacific: 800-877-5123 (Choose Option 1 for English, say "Trace" when asked for a response, then follow the prompts to enter your railcar number)
CSX: 800-235-2352 (Say "Location" and follow the prompts to...
If it helps, once I obtained my railcar number from my Vehicle Visibility Report, I used Union Pacific to track my railcar from Mexico to Illinois. Afterwards, I used CSX to track my railcar from Illinois to Michigan.
I washed mine for the first time today (pressure washer with foam cannon) and I installed my rubber hitch plug with the Bronco logo: https://accessories.ford.com/cap-13054.html
I'm a lightweight, man. I'm still shocked that I sprung for the awning...lol. I'll live through you and the rest of the adventurous forum members that are ripping off bumpers, installing lifts, upgrading wheels, changing lights, hooking up nudge bars, etc. I'll be getting my windows tinted...
Hey @Johnperrion, I saw that post on the other forum criticizing you for posting about your light setup. I love the way you handled that, by the way. I guess he should just chilled out and waited for this post...
By the way...your setup looks badass. Nice job.
I was driving a fully loaded 2012 Fusion Sport...the last year before they switched the design. That V6 engine had 263 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque. While my old car was very fun to drive and had excellent handling, it was slow off the jump. My BL+BL with 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque...
Is there a way to actually know what gear the car is in? I know you can feel it when the car shifts and can see when the RPMs bounce. But, is there some setting that will actually tell you: "The car is in X gear." I'm guessing no, but it never hurts to ask.
Yeah...mine, too. I just meant to highlight lane centering in my original post instead of lane assist. As you probably know, there's differences between the two.
I don't have pictures of mine, but it's a long rubber strip that fits into the groove along the bottom of each crossbar.
When you unpack the crossbars, both the top and bottom rubber gaskets (strips) are in place. You remove the bottom strip to install the Timberline towers that attach the...
I forgot to update this thread. Out of nowhere, my Sync 3 finally found my wifi network two days ago and is now connected to my network as-is, without the need to separate my wifi bands or edit my password length.
I wish I knew what the problem was. But, I decided to not worry about it...
You might have a point. Initially, I purposely held the wheel with a light grip because I wanted to "feel" the wheel turning on its own. The BS wasn't havin' that. When I did grab the wheel with my left, I made sure I squeezed the wheel a little bit. If what you say is correct, it's that...
I got away with having my left had at the 9 position and that's it. Initially, I thought I was relegated to using 10 & 2, which is very uncomfortable for me. It turns out that the car just didn't like my hands at the bottom of the steering wheel around 5 & 7.
I can't wait to get this thing dirty! So far, I've only touched the G.O.A.T. mode dial once. I was at a red light with no one in front of me. A voice out of nowhere whispered softly: "Go 'head...put it in Sport mode." I replied: "Not yet...I'm trying to responsibly break in the engine." The...
