Not to cool for any kind of stealth camping. Plus there is some random (relay?) noise under the middle of the vehicle at weird times. At least old cars really went to sleep.
Great write up from Poolman. I attended the same class. All the vehicles were new except one from Texas. I lucked into having our rep travel with me. Mandy (hopefully one of us got the spelling right) is a local full of knowledge about off roading. If the other guides are of equal caliber you...
Had all the windows done including windshield. Left on the factory tint. Took half a day to complete. It was all ceramic to cut down on heat. You can have any level of dark you desire on any window. I went heavy on the back and light on the front. Made a noticeable difference in interior temp...
If you can’t get it to verify give them a call. The gal who answered was very helpful and friendly. I had used a different address for my registration and put down my home address. Easily fixed and I now have a reservation in May. Looking forward to my first visit to Moab.
It has 4 Rivnuts spread across the bar. You attach with a 1/4-20 bolt. I used some blue loctite and a lock washer. You can attach the bar so the lights are on the top or bottom.
I just put one on my Badlands. I’m in SoCal and got it and a skid plate. Shipping only took one day. One of the best packing jobs I have seen. Would take a real brute of a delivery person to ruin this. Put it on by myself. Well thought out and does not interfere with any sensors. Follows the...
I have a Badlands with a Falken WP3 235/65R17 on the stock spare rim. It fits in it with no issue, just a little fatter. It puts your rear spare tire cover/cargo mat up on the higher of the two slots. It fits within the foam inserts with no issue.
I can’t imagine it does any more damage then covering it with your body. When your sitting there your weight plus the fact you don’t vent would seem to be more of an overheating issue. Aren’t your clothes basically a cover between you and the seat? The cover may help vent it and your butt. Lol
I really like that look with those rims.
Did you put the same for your spare?
And did it fit inside?
I’m another valley sport. Have only seen a couple near me.
Some touch up paint or a good off roading “story” and leave it would be my fix. The first scratch is always the worst. That is a ridiculous amount for a repair.
